as you may know ive recently had an accident in 423 and its been written off.

If the insurance company gives me what i want for it id certainly be interested.

I’d be interested in knowing what they offer you as I’ve struggled to get any policy to agree a value for the trophy. None are interested until 20 years old. The best I had was “this insurer knows the market and is more likely to understand the value”. Not really much help!

I really don’t know how people are insuring things like M3 CSL’s which are worth way more than a standard M3 if insurance companies won’t agree its value.

ill let you know what i get as I'm in talks with them now and asking them to reconsider their original offer. They wanted to offer me 2,500 based on another 182 for sale.

@Paul Morris try Greenlight 338 is insured with them on an agreed value policy.
@Hash423 plenty of interest already in 338 so hopefully you can conclude with your insurers soon.

For things like that you need a specialist insurer that understands specific models. They normally ask for a written valuation from a specialist. I.e. k-tec.

High street insurers don't normally offer this, you would need to go through a broker.

I’ve tried several specialist brokers. None are interested in the Troohy [emoji35]
