Renault Sport Clio 182 - Full Fat
MOT expired December 2019
This was bought by me in 2018 as a project and has had little or no use since then. Other vehicles and house projects have taken over so I need to move it on unfortunately. Garaged for majority of my ownership - has been on the driveway for last few months while weather has been better.
Not the tidiest example the closer you look but by no means the worst.
Good Bits; Turini Alloys - Need a refurb as they're de-lacquering and a couple of scuffs. Two practically new Toyo Proxes on rear and two very good Vredestein on the front.
Scorpion 182 Exhaust (Decat) - Sounds Nice - slight blow from the flexi when it's cold.
Lots of new parts with very few miles on them - Brakes, Clutch etc.
Serviced last year prior to MOT - No miles since then apart from to the end of my road and back.
"Full Fat" Spec includes electric windows, Climate control, auto headlights etc...
Decent Pioneer Head unit - Bluetooth, hands-free etc.
Pile of previous service history and receipts.
Not so good bits;
Needs Timing belt and dephaser done - this is the reason I've not been driving it since its last MOT.
Paintwork not great, few scratches and chips around.
Had slight gearbox whine when I bought it - changed gearbox oil when I serviced it which has quietened it down.
Interior is tatty - drivers seat is worn and steering wheel had gone sticky so I scrubbed it right back. The rest of interior isn't too bad.
Rear wiper "delete" - Broken and haven't bothered to replace it
Evidence that it's had a bump at front end in the past - bumper fasteners, arch liner clips etc bent or missing - nothing major from what I've seen when bumper etc was off.
High owners - Appears to have been well maintained by all as far as I can see, lots of receipts etc. I suspect last few owners have been in a similar position to me (Bought as a good value project and other things have taken priority)
This is an ideal project to return to good condition or as a donor. It's too good a car to break as it is but also a lot of value left in it if it's broken.
Not a lot of work or money involved to return this to a good example. Any other questions please get in touch
