Its been a year since I sold the Trophy but there was still that moments hesitation when I walked up and I nearly went round to the drivers side of the Clio
Car was looking good - nice shine
By chance found this on Ebay

Its my old car I got rid of last June!
Wondered where she went - from Manchester to Wrexham.
She's still looking good...
Wicked Wheels reckoned they could not match the Ixell paint code and the only way to guarantee a match was to repaint all 4 wheels in a different shade of grey.
Chips Away matched the colour - I had the Megane done in August and so far no signs of peeling or flaking :D
I live just outside Manchester and when I needed a wheel touch up when I had my Trophy (and then again on the Megane) Chips Away came out to the house and successfully matched the Ixell paint code. £55 a wheel I think it was...
...or it could be that the part where the wire fits has broken off completely and the seat needs a whole new sub frame to fix it like mine did. Renault quoted me £360.
And I had it checked by my regular local mechanic who confirmed the fault.
If all you're looking for is a match for the Anthracite grey to get a wheel refurb then Chips Away can match the Ixell paint code - I had it done and it was spot on.
I can confirm that Chips Away can match it ( or at least the guy with the franchise in the North West) - did a really good job and the price was really good too!
It's back again today, but this time parked in the employees section just up the row from mine.
Guess it belongs to a new starter who doesn't use this web site....
Trophy in visitors parking bay in our works car park today (in Sale, Manchester - not for sale)
Reg no starts MM05 and as per title has a baby seat in the back.
I don't see another Trophy for weeks and then there's another in the works carpark......
Trophy in Stalybridge yesterday. On the A635 going through the junction by the BP garage about 2:30 Saturday heading in the direction of Glossop/Woodhead.
Reg looked something like P1 ***
I was at the junction on the road on the left hand side.
I'd be interested to see how folks get on - I ordered some Brembo HC's and pads...and I called and emailed but was forced to spend my money elsewhere.
I was a bit disappointed really as up to that point I'd only heard good things about Yozzasport - if it looks like things are better I could be...
TBH Before I ordered I emailed Andrew with a question about the disks on their website and was pleased with the response which suggested to order slightly cheaper disks. As a result I did that but ordered the pads as well thinking that they must be pretty good to suggest a slightly cheaper but...
Beginning of this month I placed an order for front disks and pads....waited a week...no response to emails to either the Team address or Andrews. I phoned a couple of times and always got the answering machine.
So after about a week and half I phoned (and finally spoke to somebody) and...
I've just had rear disks with a full set of pads, my 172 Cup seemed to have the same problem. It just seems to be a problem with these cars. It's not helped by the fact that I do pretty low mileage so she sits out in the rain all week
Mine's always done that since I got her a year ago - a very slight feeling of a knock through the clutch pedal when I pull away from a complete standstill. It's really, really subtle so TBH I've not worried about it
Yup, passed fine with the silver bulbs in.
The only thing they had to say was that next time I need pads I'm probably going to need front disks as well :(
I've got Silvertec/Silvervision bulbs in my front indicators and my MOT is on Monday - will it pass with these bulbs? Is it just the colour and brightness of the bulb when lit that counts?
Could it have been P9 A**? I've seen one around Hyde (not too far up the road) a couple of times. Normally driven by a bloke that looks like he's in his 50's or 60's.
I've posted the "spot" on here but no response. Last time I drove past him he didn't even seem to be aware that there was...
Actually happened last weekend, but only just got around to downloading the pics.
Bloke I know has just bought this:
996 GT3. 380Bhp 0-60 4.8 Ride is as solid as the Trophy.
Doesn't feel as fast as it is which I suppose is a sign of how good it is. Sit really close to the...
Spotted a Trophy in the center of Hyde, Manchester today at about 12:45. Private plate something like P6 something, something,something.....
Unfortunately I was in a rented white van at the time - the Trophy felt like a skate board, with my backside dragging on the floor after driving the van...
