I think the road tax system still needs to be in place so people still get their cars MOT'ed but maybe they should call it something else like a vehicle licence fee for £10 that you can only get if your car has had an MOT.
I have done this course in a s2000, it was a great laugh although I always felt a bit car sick at lunch :). I remember I was trying to show off to my passenger using left foot braking etc so I took the high speed bend at 120mph, we span goodness knows how many times in a cloud of burnt rubber...
What I don't understand is their all made in this country (or at least I thought they were) and yet we get the crap version. The JDM has 4 doors, lsd, brembo brakes, better wheels, 1270kg, probably more power and was as quick as the dc5 round a Japanese test track.
I'm still trying to make up my mind what car I want.
Ideally would want something like this - colour, spec and price-

then add nitrons, oil coolers, and lotus sport remap.
One is mine and one is my brothers however I keep them both at my place. Trying to sell mine to buy a more track biased car and he is selling his because he has a baby coming.
I'm not really bothered if mine sells as the weather has got better resulting in me realising how good this car is.
Could possibly be a really dumb question. Is damper performance dependent on weather? Over the last couple of days it appears to have got warmer and my car seems to be noticeably more supple over the bumps. In contrast a week ago it was around 0c and it felt a lot harder and less compliant...
I would take it to Rsport in Wimbledon if you can, they will spot things that probably won't be spotted at other London places and carry out all the warranty work properly. Londonwest is one of the worst dealerships in the country.
What are stress bulges? Would higher tyre pressure cure the sidewall issue or are mine crap because they are nearing the end of their life? I haven't taken this car on track yet, I'm thinking about saving for a dedicated track car and using the trophy for the road.
500 is nothing, I was starting to think it would be thousands for replacements. Do you need a spare set of like cheap cup dampers for using on the car whilst the sachs ones are sent off?
What is its purpose, is it even necessary? Mine is cracked but I am starting to think it would look better without it and I'm also thinking harder springs so unsure whether to replace it.
What about the finance? He wants cash so presumably there is no payment direct to the finance company. Won't the buyer have to stump up the cash and continue paying the finance off as he has given notice of it in the advertisement?
I think the e92 m3 csl is 3/4 years off, what will happen to that? Won't they just raise road tax and petrol duty as they always do to penalise people and therefore the values of big engine cars will come tumbling down. I still think air travel taxation does not represent the true cost to the...
