If you're wanting to spend £4k on a trophy, buy mine. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/130813554721?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649
The one you listed has no mention of if the dampers have been done and the advert on a whole isn't very comprehensive.
I am located in Manchester...
Sorry, But I don't understand why you wouldn't check for all of those. I hope you didn't pay too much for it. Things like this annoy me, people buy these cars that haven't been looked after, and things are wrong.
All in all, I feel your pain. But I hope this is a lesson learnt and you get the...
IMO, I would do what you suggested in another thread, just buy the cup dampers for now, and wait for another set to come up if you still want them.
£50 each is crazy cheap.
Ben is a sound guy, He helped when my gas seal went after 6months/4k as well.
Only cost to me was sending them off via courier. No real hardship though.
Hopefully you can get them back and on the car once and for all.
Cheers, its a tough time a year to sell, but I've seen them going pretty low recently. I think the price is fair considering nothing needs doing, and wont for a long time.
Have you considered mine?
Great condition, Belts done, Dampers done, subtle mods, never tracked, FSH, 2 previous owners. My car has been cared for and IMO a lot better than many examples around the same price with lower miles...

Hi mate,
I've just put mine up for sale. Take a look and if you're interested, or want to ask me any questions about the car, or what to look for when buying one message me.

Now then, for the life of me I cannot remember which way I turn the dials to make the dampers harder/softer. Can someone point me in the right direction.
Is + softer and - harder?
I'm not even complaining lol. I had xenons on my low 1.2, and then for a short time on the Trophy. I only took them off the trophy because I thought the Halogens were better.
Yeah, I totally agree with that. The only time those are going to blind people are when you've got loads of weight in the back, because they dont have the auto levelling system on the rear beam.
However, the manual control can just be used to dip them back down again.
