Lol, i completely agree! My front disks where heavily corrodded at 19K - looked ok on the outside but appauling on the inside. Upgraded to Min1144 and brembo disks - a vast improvement (not overly expensive either). My rear disks got an advisory on the MOT - still ok, the pads are fine tho. Am...

Depends upon what YOU want. Best bang for buck is to replace the panel filter. I replaced mine (ITG) and removed the main air feed - instant induction noise. No performance increase - sounds good - no performance decrease either.

Has anyone had the Mark Fish exhaust mod done? - He said he'd done a couple of Trophies. Basically he cuts a 1/4 of the cat off and welds in a nice shiny, new, larger bit of tube to replace the crappy cat to exhaust joint - he reckons its good for 5 bhp?? Cost £125 - anyone think its worth...

yup GDI are very good. How are you finding the disks and pads? I have been looking at these myself. Are they much better than the standard set up / are they worth the money etc.....

Since bbpt went theres no one servicing the essex area except for mark fish (quite expensive). I recommend either angelworks or gdi (thats where i go and im from colchester)

Meh, photos just dont do them justice - in the flesh they look different somehow. I've got to admit that im waiting to see if a trophy 197 varient is coming out, failing that im waiting for second hand 197 prices to drop. Might be able to do a straight swap with trophy prices remaining strong...

Point your clio at a wall or similar, open the bonnet and find the back of the headlights. You should find a black covered tube thing ??? sticking out the back with a head for an allen key (white). Simply rotate it up or down and watch what it does against the wall.

woow, your asking a difficult question. I went straight to the Trophy, not having owned any of the previous. I love my Trophy, end of. Is it worth the extra over other models? drive it and see. I don't regret buying the most expensive model, the smile i get when driving on the w/e is...

Saw a Trophy on the A140 / Ipswich rd heading towards Norwich at about 1600. Was it you :?: (was very clean)

Thats exactly what I love about the trophy. It can be either. Drive it normaly and you can see 35mpg - perfectly reasonable ride quality. Drive it hard and you see down to 20mpg? and it goes :twisted: Its quite capable of going either way. Dont, however expect to put any kids in the back...

Surely all this should be covered under warrenty, why are you paying for anything? Are spark plugs classifed as wear and tear items?
