20k for any old MX-5 is complete rubbish. The only old ones getting anywhere near that are the Le Mans editions which have the same colour scheme as the 787B from '91.
Mine's a MK1 S special, which got a few fancy parts on it from Japan but is largely a normal 1.8 and is worth about a grand...
No worries mate :) She never was where I wanted her to be cosmetically, flying was too much of a pull to go all out on the car but mechanically she couldn't have been better.
There were alot of stone chips but it had over 90,000 miles on it and nope, no resprays although if I had of kept it...
??????
Mine was the only one that was ever parked there and most definitely was not a ruin! It was usually a bit grubby though admittedly.
I work for TT opposite the post office and often parked it on the road as the bus yard is pretty dusty.
SOLD today to a chap from Cliosport. Hopefully he'll be making an appearance here.
Replaced with a 19 year old 160,000 mile Eunos. A black S-Special in pretty good condition. Time for some RWD convertible fun :)
Now over 89200 miles due to a long trip over the weekend. 2 brand new rear dampers fitted last week.
Forgot to mention on the ad that the wheels could also do with a light refurb.
First time I've seen you despite living close by and I wasn't even in mine. Was driving the 116. There's another T I can almost see from my house but I've only seen that once.
And due to my computer being an absolute sack of crap, that's all it'll allow me to post before it throws a tantrum. Excuse it being a bit dirty plus the pics being in different places, haven't had the time to take new ones due to work commitments.
Hi everyone.
I sadly have to sell 224 to free up a bit more money towards a house deposit. I’m the 3rd owner and I will miss this car hugely. I’ve owned it since October 2009, have done quite a lot of mileage in it and it’s never let me down once.
HPI clear.
The car has a full service...
Sadly i'll be adding mine to the mix in a few weeks.
3 owners, 87600 miles FSH including receipts, a few mods and very well looked after. 3 and a half years and not one problem too.
Nice site. That 962 road car has had me drooling more than once. If only I could convince my girlfriend to spend the house deposit money somewhere else!
Apart from an F40 in Henley on Saturday there hasn't been much recently. A Testarossa in the Henley area early this year, Aventador on the A4 near Reading late last year as well as a GT3 RS 4.0 on the M25. A few years ago I followed a bright green Mosler MT900 into Salisbury. A tough thing to do...
We drive around the same area hoolio and I've personally not come across anything yet. I don't entirely slip under the radar (I get quite a few looks) but never had anything said or done to me.
If I'm out for a drive I certainly don't hang around, so maybe that's kept me out of the way a little.
I have an OMP one fitted by a previous owner. Never driven one without sadly so I can't comment on differences but it looks good, drives beautifully and still tripods so I'm pretty happy. Plus removing it will leave holes in the uprights.
If you decide to break it, can I have first dibs on the wiper mechanism and the scuttle panel please?
Does the mechanism work well? By that I mean the passenger wiper stays on the screen instead of flying off the side.
