The grids are a replica of the very sexy TE37 from Volk racing!
Day....you will need to modify your rear calipers if you go for them mate! :? Unless you run a 3mm spacer which will change the offset of the wheel to an et 37. What's the standard ET on a mk1 172?
I do a 50 mile daily commute on my Leda's....great fun and very comfy 8)
To be fair the FK kit does ride very well for the money, I was pleasently surprised!
I have so ner :P lol.
They were surprisingly good in terms of ride comfort in my opinion! Was something odd about the rear springs and handling though :?
Iain, in my honest opinion they are cheap for a reason mate. Going on my personal past experiences with cheap suspension kits I would say dont bother....Save up for the H&R's (£750ish). Eibach also do a Pro kit comprising of dampers and springs, lowers approx 300mm but will handle very well...
You are spot on in my opinion George :)
...FYI Ben has a very swish looking flow bench, think its a SuperFlow from the states or something. I'm not very well informed with regards to how well the OE head flows but I'm sure Ben would be able to fill you in.
Mine are sparco 3 points. I fixed the inner lap mount to the cobra subframe and the outer mount to the original seat belt rail point. The rear goes to the seat belt point (stripped out) or where the luggage bar went, cant remember now....think it was the one most in line with the seat. I doubt...
Nik, have you found any of the dust stuck to your door's? When i ran the PF's with OE 182 rims i noticed it on the wheels but not the bodywork, then i changed to rota slipstreams (very open wheel) and discovered that the dust found its way to my paintwork!! Was not impressed lol
