Same problem! Had to drag my car to a dealer this morning. They've promptly quoted me £568 for a new one + fitting. Have I just been seriously done...

I found that if I adjusted the seat back to be a little more upright each day I didn't really notice the difference. I am now sitting pretty blimin' straight though!

They're still bedding in at the moment, but already they feel much better. Especially when you brake really hard, I've been finding myself doing this just for fun recently! If I had the choice of the money, or the discs and pads, I'd go for the brakes every time.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for the replies. Ended up going to GDI. I thought they were excellent, I'd definitely recommend them. Even got myself some Brembo max discs and Mintex pads fitted while I was there. :D

Thanks, looks like I'm in for a bit of a drive, not that I'm complaining... :) Do you guys just wait while they do the service? In my old car I just used to go to main dealers and use a courtesy car for a few days, so this new territory for me!

Right here you go, I've taken a load of photos this morning. I should say I'm a graphic designer/photographer so I could resist the urge to take some 'arty' ones too! You can see that this is clearly numbered 464. I can only guess Renault made some mistake in the numbering. Bit of info...

That sounds about right, I got it off a dealer up in Stockton who said he'd had it for about 6 weeks or so. This is very odd indeed.

This is weird. I've got the V5, the previous owner is listed as Andy Dea. I can assure you it says 464 on the plate. I'll post some pics in the next couple of days.
