Consumables - how long do they last?

At 12k both should be fine, though it does depend what kind of life the car has had, tyres should be good up to 18k though they would have lost a lot of their performance by then. Pads should last a bit longer.

Consumables - how long do they last?

That's good that it had the oil change at 5k (filter as well i hope) it will not have voided the warranty but you will need a stamp in the service book for 12k or it will. What i am a little concerned about is that you are considering buying one unseen, i personally would not do that.

Consumables - how long do they last?

Sorry Rudi, don't think that's true, had a call today from my friendly local stealer saying my first service is due 2yrs/12k though i'll be doing mine every 1yr/6k.

    Good news i hope

No you're not missing anything really, all 182's come with the RS manifold, not sure about all 172's. I wish i'd taken some photo's but the work done by ben (manifold match) grinds off a lot of extra material that you can actually see when you place the gasket (and the trophy has a lot!) over it...

    Good news i hope

Sorry to be a pedant here, but if anything the trophy ports seem to need more work than slightly older 182's :?: Perhaps why they are a little down on power on RR's?
  15. J

    Good news i hope

Eh! The Trophy does not have a different manifold to a 182. unless your taking the piss, in which case it's large, size of a house probably

    Good news i hope

As per above, tho I wouldn't say monkey, genetically too close to us :) . He probably meant the RS manifold. You would need to take it off (a fairly long job) and inspect it to tell if they had been ground out, tho you can tell with the naked eye if it's anything like the trophy units.
