thanks, thats's interesting. So are you going to put that trophy time in the back of the mag, or are you going to wait and do a "proper" test later on?
after driving around the bedford autodrome;
"it's almost 10 seconds quicker than the Focus [1.6] but fractionally slower than the Clio 182 Cup"

from what i know protected NCBs are a total waste of money. do not mak th emistake of thinking they will stop your premium from rising if you make a claim, they will not. NCB is only a factor in deciding your premium, not the whole thing.
ok, so i'm in north london - how do I use your friend? Presumably I drive to you in oxford, swap wheels around, then return the next week to pick up my shiny news turinis? how much will it cost me in total?
i would say unless you can get the old trophy parts you will be looking at an insurance claim. I just finished fixing my old focus from a run in with a deer a few months ago. It needed a new mirror and a new front wing. All in it has cost me about £220, but this was really as cheap as I could...
i've just got off the phone to Andrew at yozzasport, he was very helpful. I've decided to get new lines, fluid and pads, the only problem being whether to go for the PF97s or the DS2500s. Bascially, as those of you who were at bedford will have seen, i'm not very good at keeping my car clean, so...
ive just fitted the cg-lock, but i'm a bit unsure as to if i have done it correctly. it seems to me that the slide comes off very easily when you are turning it to the off position, should this happen? also, when it is off, should the lap belt side around as if there is no cg-lock there, or...
i think im goign to go for eagle f1 gsd3s when i need a change. i liked them on my focus and they always do well in the magazine tests, in fact i think autocar rated them as the best tyres last time they had a big test (admittedly that must have been about 2 years ago)
interesting thread. i thought i would pick up a cg lock for bedford on saturday, but apparently they need 2 weeks to send one out?! do they make them to order or something?
