Back in december I spent a day with a friend of mine doing a few snaps of the car. He works for Evo/Top Gear etc doing snaps so he is not too bad! I forgot to post them here back then, so here they are now,

mine only does about 34 at a cruise controlled 79mph - i would imagine it does 37 at 70, but that doesnt include any stopping or starting, or overtaking....
don't forget mine is 003 though, so a bit older than average - i'm on an 05 plate :boohoo:
haven't actually been driving that much since i've had it, apart from a 1500 mile trip to france at Christmas. Will probably pound the motorway miles a fair amount in the summer when work gets busier...
IMHO the engne in the civic i better as a piece of engineering, but to live with I prefer the clio. I think of it as a CTR engine but just 10% less frantic (and also less refined). Gearbox on CTR is a real work of art - its the one feature I would like in the trophy
