Mixing a new (unworn) and old will probably throw up an ABS failure light if you do appreciable stright line distance (motorway for example) - not a biggie if it's a temp thing but just be aware. J

Don't hold your breath! If the batt is truly dead a trickle will do naff all - time for a new one :-(

I had the same recently with my 997 - it was the battery, if you tried jump leads without disconnecting the old batt, and it has totally died, then it will sink all the current from the good one. Try again with the old one disconnected. We'll be seeing more and more of this now with the cold...

Check the cost, it might be worth changing the lot (I did); it's possible to just change the joints though.

could be ball joint, or top mount (bearing) - difficult to tell from the vid though..

Me too, and STM's - no probs at all, did a 1250 mile round trip last week like that and I can still hear things,... what?
