    My Renaultsport Clio 177 trophy

Don't confuse crank bhp with driven wheel bhp, wheel bhp will be way off 182 (which I believe is PS not BHP anyway). I'd say 177 bhp at the wheels is superb - if that's what's been measured...

    Alloy Wheels

Couldn't agree more with the sentiment, although I don't think it healthy to accept it being a "one way road" : I'm sorry I missed the opportunity to be chief pedant on this particular gem! (well done NBR)! Keep up the good work, I'll do my best to assist. ;-

Back To the Future Part 3

I always hated red cars; stuck for choice with the T - but now, after half a year, I love it! It shines up a treat and I think my next car might be red through choice! White sucks imo.

    Clutch change

Anyone decided to replace the clutch yet?? 50 k on mine, no probs other than it squeaks when it's hot on the track ( never on the road) - thinking of doing it anyhow. Any thoughts, 5 years now folks: it's about time maybe????

Poor old NickBR; he was only attempting to raise standards (one step at a time). So, open season on punctuation, spelling and grammar - at last! We are all guilty to one extent or another..... : - ; ' " ? , . (delete/ use as appropriate) ;-)

Back To the Future Part 3

... And abnormally driven by everyone else ? So; is Hyb a girl or a hairdresser - or both, and if so why is that embarrasing ? :-) The Dacia, on the other hand, has no such stereotypical constraints, anyone can be embarrased driving one! Even more keen to know what the car is now...

My lowered Trophy-before and after pics

Yes, I wondered about the ride also; fancied doing this for a while - mine's a trackday toy rather than a road ride so maybe it doesn't matter. Tell us more re the difference from stock ... :?:

    Damper oil seal???

Give the unit a clean first - then check to see if there is any further evidence of oil leaking; it's just possible it could be from elsewhere .... Also if it's lost it's oil (enough to make it clonk over bumps sounds like it would be fairly terminal) then you will be able to push the car down...

    Damper oil seal???

    Or maybe the ARB mount?

24k miles sounds very low to be changing all the belts. Do you go on track at all? If it's just on the road it seems like a waste of money imo. Nothing to do with track or road, 3 years aux belt change, 5 year cam belt change (or mileage if sooner) - Ignore this at your peril!!! Oh, and miss...
