I'd be surprised if worn tyres produced the noise you describe, however the feel is probably due to that; top mounts would be my number 1 suspect after I changed the tyres ( which you need to do anyway I'd suggest). Edit: maybe worth a geometry check at the same time ?

Just had all the mounts changed for Ktec uprated ones - drove 800 miles (back home after having them fitted) today and not intrusive or harsh at all; slightly more vibey at tickover that's all - track on the 27th :-)

I think you need to fit washers to pass an MOT with hid lighting??

Could be seat belt warning light switch; possibly already disconnected by a previous owner?? Does the light come on/ go off when you clip in the belt as per standard? If not, there's the answer perhaps.

OK - as I said before it's a trackday car for me (tomorrow is my next day on track :D ) but today it was so nice I drove her to the local French ski resort in the Pyrenees, then went over to Spain - I found a road like a mini Stelvio pass - superb!!! So I guess I qualify for using it properly...
