Think I understand now (doh!): there's the normal track with a laguna seca style corkscrew, or a shorter loop that cuts that section out. Trackday's use the full loop normally (I dislike the short loop as you also lose out on the fastest part of the cct; the descent).
When are you coming back...
Not sure, NBR; you'll have to explain. (edit: see next post).
There's a fast right left drop, just approaching in the photo, that takes no prisoners - 90% of all big off's happen there, normally when drivers "panic" lift off :-) ; imo trickier than the chicane you mention.
Agree with you on...
A damp friday at Pau Arnos for my once a month track day - great fun though on the road tyres :)

Sir D - Interested to note that you bought a Trophy all the same..
Don't get me wrong - nothing wrong with the 172 - it's a great value ride, don't buy a Trophy if you want to upgrade though buy a Trophy 'cos they are a little bit special.......
If the PS3's are £10 cheaper and the car is just used on the road I'd have thought they were a better bet than the Yoko's imo :?:
but, you got me thinking:
....I've just worn out my Toyo R888 gg's on my 15"track rims - anyone got any views on this Yoko as a trackday replacement for the...
I use a CG lock in my Porsche for trackdays (no simple mounting options for a harness) but I have a drivers side harness in the T- The CG Lock works very well but nowhere near as good as a proper harness; The harness is a pita for day to day driving - Just keep the OE inertia belts too for road...
Not as expensive as EVO mags Nick Trott who reckons on spending £1750 on a 5 year service plus brakes on his Clio V6!!
If your noise is related to engine revs ( like a click each time the motor does a revolution) then check the belts carefully - or to be safe get them changed anyway as hoolio...
My thoughts precisely! And I have the original stone chipped red one to put back on later when they are a priceless collectors piece :-)
PS Jamie; great scapyards down your way eh!
?? - Fits and looks 100% like the bonnet you have in your garage on your T :-) - no difference at all bar the weight and colour/finish; so, not sure what other photos might help you....
Was only kidding - wouldn't even know where to start asking about doing that here in the French countryside! , don't think that carbon fibre (inc wraps) is on the John Deere options list  ; mind you a CF tractor, now there's something........
I believe the CF one is 6kg although I didn't actually weigh it; the original - no idea of the weight but must be double that??
There are a whole load of 304 snaps posted a while back, on site already, when I gave it a good once over :-)
What a thoughtful mrs - just turned up in the post on my birthday a week or so back! Will keep the original bonnet for best :)
It is Very light!!

Yep, heatshield would be my first guess (above the box, an aluminium covered composite plate(s) quite brittle around the screw mounts - big washer under the screw and re-fix it).
It does look pretty; but.... I have a real, (illogical & non supportable - logically), dislike of Beemers........ Why an M5? there's a bag load of choice out there for those who wish to change up #-o
