Well being a closed filter it does have the 'induction noise' but the k&n is louder. I would also say the car pulls alot better with the maxogen.

I would say ITG Maxogen is your best - even though the price is shocking :( I have tried the k&N, BMC CDA, and the ITG panel filter. The CDA was good for the price but for the noise... Maxogen! I found the ITG panel filter very good for the price. Keep your eyes on the web for 2nd hand ones. :)

:lol: twins!!! I have just been for a run out in the car trying reversing in a straight line, turning while reversing.... seems to do it more when your reversing left. Sounds really the steering rack under strain or as mentioned the anti roll bar creaking....

Can anyone help.... Since I had my cambelt and lower arms inc ball joints. Everything is fine apart from the nxt day when I went to work, I was reversing and I could hear this creaking noise?! only happens when reversing never moving forward!? I put it down to anti roll bar making the noise...

My old 172 made 11bhp. I have matched inlets on the trophy now and it seemed to pull better but I wouldn't say it made a huge difference not like my old 172!
