Good luck with the sale of your car.
sorry to hijack your post slightly but could you tell me where you got your steering wheel retrimmed and where did you get those mats from?
#189 now safely in Glasgow.
I drove it all the way from Northampton and the car never missed a beat. I’ve been out a few times and I must say it’s great to be back in a Trophy.
I’m happy to report that I have placed a deposit on this car and I can’t wait to get back into a Trophy. I previously owned #488.
I intend for #189 to lead a charmed comfortable life and will only be used in decent weather and to be shown at local car shows!
Thanks guys.
It it will be nearer the end of the summer/start of winter that I will look to buy another so plenty of time to look and I don't mind travelling for the right car.
I've noticed a few tatty examples when looking recently which is unfortunate but expected.
Hey. I'm a previous Trophy owner (#488) but sold that in order to help fund wedding/house purchase etc. I'm now in the position that I would like to buy another.
I currently have a BMW 1 Series diesel for my commute to work however my plan maybe to get rid of that and use the Trophy as a daily...
I travel down through Perth every Friday and just before the main Perth roundabout I have spotted a Trophy going north on the A9.
I don't often post on here these days but seeing a Trophy makes me miss mine.....even if I have had numerous other cars since selling it.
I collect it tomorrow.

The Recaros look like they have never been sat in.
After owning the S2000 I was struggling to live without the vtec engine. I considered a DC2 but wanted something a bit newer. Also...
I'm considering 'another' change. Just in the middle of a house move at the moment so I may well be in touch with Steve at some point.
Steve - I would be looking to PX a 2004 Seat Leon Cupra TDi, FSH, Av mileage, standard fit Recaros (quite rare), climate, cruise, etc etc. Would you be...
Steve,
I need to buy a house near you. I often visit your website (as I change my cars almost too often) and in every picture of every car you sell it is a gorgeous day with a bright blue cloudless sky!!

I know the one you mean mate. Although 40k miles is not really that much if it has been looked after like I looked after mine or the way the majority of owners on here do.
It's a hell of a car for <6k. Now where is my cheque book!!
I sold mine around 16-17 months ago for 11k with 19000 miles on the clock. How times change. I'm back in the market for buying another, although I don't agree with the low prices I may have to take advantage!!
Hi guys,
I sold 488 a while back and was just wondering if anyone knew where she was. She parted company from me around Aug 2007 and headed for Wigan. I pointed the new owner to this site and also had the CT sticker in the back window. I was the last post on the 488 register.
Am I looking...
