I have been in the K-Tec Clio with the low pressure turbo conversion and TBH for £3000 it aint all that! Yeah it is quick but not rapid as you think! But now if you go in the 300bhp Clio now that is brown pants moments!
I really like the Janspeed as its only a single box on the rear and is about 8kg's lighter than the OEM one so there is something to be gained there even if it microns! It also not loud and very burbley through 3-4k revs.
I have not got a decat on it yet but that what my next step will be!
No this is the same problem passenger seat handle rattle along with 2 halves of a white ball bearing!
The rattle will dissapear if you have the seat further back on the rails or like wisebang the handle itself towards the door then the handle becomes solid. Mine still is and its been a good 3...
As they can blow the ecu's due to sending the charge the wrong way! Its something i was aslways told from Renault! Not saying that it doesnt work just that you maybe the unlucky one! It normally falls in the bracket of cars from build date 2003 on wards!
Yeah i just think it now kinda of matches the Renaultsport badge on the back now instead od some rusty old nail
Hoolio this was just a practise i think i will go down to a 1500wet and dry but i dont it to blingy
You see the picture at the top and you see the handle which you pull to move the seat backwards and forwards thhis is what you need to bang but obviously bang it towards the door panel! And with some force but not to much to break the seat handle itself!
It may not bother any of you or may say why bother but i was fed up of looking at the Renaultsport writing that is printed on top of the manifold. It was looking rather tatty and not what it should be so why the sun was i had a little play with it to see what i could do with it! Here is what it...
I have sorted the rattle would you beleive it all it need was a quick bang towards the door panel on the actual handle itself and hey presto its not solid and no rattles! Good times :D
**Another Update**
Seems the diagnosis now is that the subframe bolts need re-torqing once thios is done i will then up date you with my results to see if this has finally solved the problem!
To appreciate it you have to see it in the flesh! You could call it Marmite!
If i didn't have the Trophy i would probably purchase one of these in Alien Green with black speedlines :D
I'd personally try and go direct from Recaro for this part as this wont be available through Renault! Because otherwise it will be complete seat rails and that you need a mortgage for!
