So many things came into my mind, but im not going to say anything nasty ... Simply refurb the front dampers, & buy a pair of proper Trophy dampers for the back. Will cost you about £650 all in. Which is roughly what you will pay for an average set of coilovers.

Agency transmissions (in Gloucester iirc) will refurb the box for between £250-£500 depending on the work required. And swopping the box, well depends if you know anyone handy with a spanner. Fred @ BTM Performance is probably your closest specialist.

I would imagine that as the PMS strut brace is attached directly to the STM's that it would be the best solution out there in terms of chassis stiffness & bracing, whether that is what you want on the car is entirely up to you though i guess. FYI, for those that have been around the french car...
