Hi Luca,
I actually saw a Trophy in Switzerland, cant for the life of me remember the name of the place, but it was parked outside a house, on a main road, about a mile up the road from a Lidl - you never know, might have been you?
I agree on the Whiteline!! Makes the Trophy flipping awesome...
Its still relatively easy to check the oil & do a change. Nick has the RS2 extra on his 172 Cup and he has no problems doing it. For reference, he has the mechanical ability of my mum.
Re: the Cat Cams, it will only perform as well as the mapper, in this case Paul @ RS Tuning.
I'm sure as more...
Thats odd, i was under the impression that a change to Dot5.1 meant doing more fluid changes as it absorbs more water than Dot4? Hence i've tended to stick to Catrol Super Response Dot4.
Only bought these last week, but now bought something else instead. Indecision FTL.
Couple of small repairs (as in pictures), but generally in very nice condition. I'll obviously make sure they are lovely and clean before selling them.
Great seat that will fit a 30-34" waist comfortably.
No...
Personally, & if you actually own a Trophy, i wouldnt get rid of them!!
A Trophy is worth so much due to the suspension, without that, its just any old clio.
You'd get about £200 if they need a refurb, so really not worth selling for such a small gain imho.
If you're coming from a 106 Rallye, just buy a 172 Cup. Bloody brilliant cars, & cost f*ck all these days.
Imho, the Trophy isnt worth the huge premium over other clio's, hence why i sold my mint Trophy, it just wasnt worth £4k more than a 172 cup. Its good, & worth trying, but not a sound...
Nice Eddy!! I've got pics of yours on my disc actually, so ill dig them out for you later on 8)
Had a great day at Brands on Sunday, but cold, but again, the Trophy performed faultlessly, the Whiteline ARB (Set to medium) has really transformed the car imho. Whilst i was suffering from...
I'd go one further than Eddy & say that with the Whiteline ARB fitted, & set to medium, the Trophy was pretty much ideal for me on track. Front end had enough grip, & the understeer i felt at Snetterton on the limit was replaced with a tendency for oversteer.
In fact id say that as it is...
In what way Danny? Im supposed to be stripping mine out next week lol ...
Will be de-pinned & with Koni Rears though, so ill be able to mess about with damping rates.
