If your unhappy how Renault are dealing with the issue, my advise is to take it to an independent comapny and get them to provide full documentation of any faults how ever small they may be. Then you can present these to your dealership with a letter stating that you want the faults fixed, at...
Just been onto my tyres to get a quote on 2 new Exalto's and they have gone down in price, they are now for sale at £88.08 inc P&P.
Thats the best i have found them yet.
May get a set for after the track days sessions.
Cheers Nik, for some reason i dont seem to have the normal handbook, really should of checked when i picked the car up.
On another note, if i do have a slow punture, where is the cheapest place to get a new Exalto.
Oh right thats great, just needed to get that clarifyed.
What would happen when it comes to service time and the light is illuminated. Would Renault go down the route of checking the system, or would i be best advising them before the car was booked in like i do with the K&N Panel Filter???
I close friend of mine has a new WRX Impreza, totally standard, and i have followed him down the country roads a couple of times now, it is impossible to keep up with it, only time i can catch it is when he drops out of boost or under heavy breaking.
I find it hard to belive that the Trophy...
What is the correct tyre pressures for the Exlato tyres.
Just had my tryes checked to see if i had a punture and they have no idea what the correct pressurs should be. Now i have looked in all of the hand books but cant find the information. I have spoken to the dumb arse dealership and...
Bugger i really want to get one but the me and the other half have just paid for our holiday.
I have spoken to a guy locally to me who has had a H&S Decat made for his 182 he is running it with the std b/box and says the difference is imense, alot more touque and the car sounds like Renault...
DAM YOU YOZ. I really want one but funds are a little tight. :(
£140 is resaonable anyway, so even if the offer ends I may still get one at a later date.
PMSL after 5 years of owning Clios I still end up with grazed nuckles and cuts on my hands. Even worse when you drop the bulb down below the headlamp unit.
Thinking of employing an elf to change the bulbs next time LOL
OUCH!!!!
I know exaclty which car your talking about, I am always carefull down the A120 from Stanstead there are always police down that area and they are always in unmarked volvos, fords, vauxhalls.
TBH a friend was caught at around the same speed he got a 3 month ban and a £120...
When i spoke to Eibach a few months back they said that Sachs who they deal with and use to make the Eibach suspension kits, use a custom (Yellow) spring on the front of the car and a Standard spring (Black) for the Trophy.
From what i can gather Yellow springs are a custom design from Eibach...
The idea of a strut brace is to eradicate or at least reduce the flex from the chassis/body.
When done correctly the car feels totally different to drive, turn in is much crisper, and handling is better.
That is a very basic description of how they work.
I bought one of those for my dad for christmas it is excellent value for money, we polished his car the other week put the cover on it came back to it this week even though we have had rain, frost and ice and non of the windows are steamed up and the car still looks perfect. No streak marks or...

You would never of guessed you had been to the Autosport show if it wasnt for the title of the post
I went to Halfords and bought the super brillance bulbs, buy one get one free,
I have had them in every car i have owned and they are excellent. Well worth the money.
I have also used the PIAA bulbs which are expensive but give an amazing light output.
All depends on how far you...
I agree with KS there is no point what so ever putting in a strut brace which is held in with self tappers, unless you want the engine bay to look pretty.
I have a friend who has a Nova which is totally stripped out running 250Bhp Calibra Turbo lump. When it came to fitting front a rear...
As Nik said even using one of the best springs on the market, the standard shocks on the car, are having alot more stress put on to them, mainly due to the fact that the piston is made to sit 20mm higher in the strut and there for when the car on std springs would hit the bump stop a car lowered...
TBH the car handles great the way it is, it is already running Eibach sportlines front and rear anyway, and from my expereince both using Eibach and been a seller of there products, i would choose Eibach over any other brand on the market.
Granted dropping the car 20mm will make it look...
BX55/RX55 only got a quick glimpse of it as we were in the bar having a few drinks.
Started to panic as i thought it may of been my car. LOL
Me and my GF were joking about it 15mins before that we hadnt seen another Trophy all the way up from Essex and then one goes past.
Growing Up WTF is that all about, I intend to be a nutter till the day I die, even then i want to be taken to my grave in a Supercharged Hearse LOL
The only good thing about getting older is the insurance gets cheaper, well its supposed to.
Theres a couple on Ebay at the moment as well.
There is a small chance you may still be able to get an unregistered one as well but you will have to look for them.
The full fat ones just look a bit to much especially with the number on them as well.
I agree with you that the normal ones are nicer and they actually save the sill from getting scratched, but on a Trophy, the way i look at it is keep it the way Renault made it.
Even though i am putting...
I have stop to chat to one guy in Braintree who owns a Trophy, kept telling him about the site, but i dont think he has access to the Internet, which is a bit of a pain on his part.
Never mind.
I was thinking of maybe sorting out a Flyer that could be printed off by members and kept in...

I have just had a look on the site, must say it is very professional, and the members prices are spot on.
I have sent a request asking what the best oil is for my Trophy with 6k on the clock, and look forward to your reply.
Keep up the good work, and i will make certain that anyone who...
She was going to get me one of the Wicked Wheels made up until the bloke got back to her and told her that it would cost nearly £300.
