Welcome. Be patient good things come to those who wait, and my god is the Trophy good, I have to stupid smile on my face that i can't get rid of, and it gets worse every time i set foot in the Trophy. :D
I keep thinking about get one of the PC kits, really want to try someones before I purcahse the kit just to see if i get on with it.
TBH the results are pretty amazing. NIK get a before and after pic up to show how good the results are.
Yeah i have noticed now after the car has completed 1000k that it feels alot smoother and qiucker, maybe down to the fact that i have hit the cams and change at the best time.
It is definatly a fun car to drive even at its limits.
Jeremy. It was nice to see the New Clio in the flesh. It is obvious that it will be a good seller, especcialy with all of the Toys that seem to be standard on the mid-high range models.
Only thing is i dont think it will appeal to the 18-25 yr old segment, mainly because it looks so grown...
I have just done 1000 miles on the way back from Donnington yesterday only took a week and a couple of days, that was to 2 shows in the north midlands, which helpped.
TBH i am not going to rag the car now as i dont really have the money for petrol.
They are not leather on the centre they are a speicial material which has been desinged by Recaro which is better wearing.
Cant remeber what it is called.
Was given a free induction kit by the guys at Powertec the other day.
Now i have already fitted my K&N Panel filter and is sounds great already, but was wondering what you lot think about the induction kit.
TBH i havent paid anything for it, so I am not losing anything by not fitting it...
I am so glad its happend to the rest of you, I have know learnt to pull of junctions and round abouts in second now.
Still love the way the car pulls. Not as quick as my old Calibra Turbo buts its the fact you can carry silly speeds into corners that really you should be breaking into...
Yeah i dont think me and Mr T Steer are going to get on that well at the moment :D
I think i may wait until next year to put the car on the track just so i can get used to the way in which the poweris delivered.
Still, loads of fun even if i have stained the seats :D
soon soon, give me chance to get used to driving it on the road.
Shitted myself up big time today on the way home, pulled out thinking i was in second and floored it and all hell broke lose looked down an i was in first with the TC light flashig and the steering wheel pulling everywhere but...
I think the alloy was damaged when the car was been PDI'ed as you can see where thay have put the impact wrench onto the nut and it must of slipped.
Will have to see what they suggest.
Fingers crossed they should be able to. TBH though i am not that happy about them repairing the wheel i would prefer a replacment as the scratch is rather deep and the chip has gone to the primer, if they repair it, it is bound to be a different colour.
Cheers Jeremy I am sure it will be ok...
Well as you may have guessed, picked the car up today, all fine until i decided to put a CD on and found the CD player doesnt work, I am missing a screw cap that fits into the door handle pocket thingy and the paint on the spoiler on the part which is hidden seems to be peeling.
Spoke to the...
Just a few pics of my 1 day old car, have used 1/2 tank of petrol already and my cheeks are hurting so much because of all the smiling i have been doing.
