If the wheel is £130 from Renault and I know tyres can be had for £100 with fitting etc, £200 for the two isn't a bargin. A bargin would be £150 for the two.
Black wheels look pap.
Says xenons too. I'm not sure on this one, but aren't HID's different to xenons as I'd imagine since they're after market they're HID's not xenons.
Thanks for the feedback guys. I have to say, on paper, I really can't find anything which is as cheap to run and quick as the Trophy. The Trophy does, as you say, tick all the boxes.
This sounds awful, but I've found myself feeling like this and when I used to read the type of comment I'm about...
I've done about 10k in a year in mine.
I've done a trackday in that period.
I like to think I use mine properly, but, it's time and work dependant. I give it a blast when I can but do enjoy giving it a good clean almost as much as a proper thrash.
Tbh, if you're getting knocked back on all these offers maybe you'll have to accept either you can't afford a Trophy, or have to up what you're willing to spend.
As for the car in the post. I've had my dampers done and before I did I had them checked out by a few garages, whom all said they...
Not everyone knows the issues with these cars.
Don't drop the price anymore. If people say they want it for less ask them to show you one for so little with the dampers and cambelt done.
Unless you're not telling us something, like the rear of the car is missing I'd say it is very cheap.
Wait...
Right. Just done a track day in mine. Took quite a few people out. These lads have 172's, 182's, Williams' and Clio Mk1 Cup Cars. Everyone one of them complemented the car and said how well it handled and went. The car was easy to use and as it's been softened up a bit by Mark and it's very...
That's irrelevant though I'd have thought. New car warranties cover the car not the owner. So not sure why this would be differenent unless an additional warranty or extended warranty was purchased.
One of mine had lost gas when I had it refurbed. If that's the case I'm tempted to ask BG to write a report or just put in writing that, that was the case. Then submit this to Renault and ask them to cover half the cost of the refurb? Alot of us who have had refurbs have lost gas in one of the...
Sorry, got all my items and set up at the weekend.
I'm very happy with my set up.
Had a few other mods fitted in the recent past which will have all added up to the additional benefits I'm seeing (damper refurb and polly bushes, new engine mounts.) but the car feels great.
I've just got mine back from BG. Also fitted MF stuff with a set up from Mark himself. Fuck me, what a difference. Car was great before now it's simply amazing. What the car will take and now and how it can attack corners is staggering.
Not sure what you mean mate.
With the MF stuff does anyone actually increase front damping?
As tbh, at the mo, I'm going down the route of getting them refurbed and leaving them as pinned.
Just got a call from BG and they have no adjustors in stock and won't have any for 6 weeks. My refurb is booked for the 11th of August :(
To add to the matters, I've just bought the Mark Fish stuff and have a track day on the 31 of August.
I'm also moving to Aberdeen in 2 months for a year...
Thing is, for me, I've arranged for my damper refurb and someone local to fit it all at substantially less than he will charge. I was only going to him for a set up. So if I miss that opportunity I'm out of pocket. I also have a trackday in August. So it's put me out.
My Trophy No...
My new plate...
Few others
Not washed pic, but is a nice angle
Check out my Mums car. 55 plate with only a few k on the clock. Just never washed, cleaned or even touched.
