Hence me hoping someone was online at 11pm to tell me how to remove it! The dash looks naked without it mind you....
I remember taking the door card off on my 205 - similar kind of job, just pull until something gives way (usually the clip.... grrrr! :x ) I think I snapped nearly half of them...
Yeah, it was four little push on clips.
I levered it off from the top edge using a screwdriver (wrapped in a cloth to prevent damage to the trim) - found it best to start from the right hand side and work along. As long as you are gentle its an easy job - you'd have to pull pretty hard to...
I need to remove the silver trim strip on the passenger side (just above the glove box)
Does anyone know how this is removed - I am reluctant to pull/lever it off in case I break the fixings!
Cheers Oli - I haven't had a proper look through the manufacturer sites yet.
The treadwear/traction etc ratings can normally be found on the sidewall of most tyres - as I understand it there are different grades of the Kumho's so this will probably also vary!
George K & other Kumho users - please take a look at my tyre spreadsheet in this post: http://cliotrophy.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1508
Can you let me know the ratings of the Kumho and I'll add them to the sheet.
I'm compiling a speadsheet of suitable tyres for the Trophy - I'll post it up here tonight.
I'm trying to get as much data as possible with all the ratings etc so owners can make a more informed choice when picking a new set of boots!
I'm selling these Renault rally promo stickers on ebay - great for any Renault memorabilia collector! :D

VX220 all the way. Its a proper sports car (even if they did use Griff Rhys-Jones in his Y-fronts to advertise it - nice on Vauxhall )
At the end of the day the Evo is a small saloon which sold its soul to the devil  but as much as I like them (and don't get me wrong, I do...
Hehe, you could say it'd be daft if the car defaulted to displaying the cruise control setting every time you turn the sodding ignition on!
Like you say, there probably isn't a way around it... my last car was a Honda which didn't display the cruise control speed (I guess those clever...
Ah sorry, to clarify:
If the cruise control system is switched on (using the dash button so the green icon is displayed on the instrument panel) is there anyway way to prevent the LCD display defaulting to the speed selection screen when you are not actively using the cruise control...
I always have my cruise control switched to the "on" position (after all, you don't really want to be fiddling round under the dash while driving...) but find it really irritating that the dash display then defaults to the "set speed" mode.
Is there any way round this or am I just going to...
Never seen brakes like that before!
Anyway Nik - what's with the ballast?! I had 3 passengers in my car the other day and the difference in pick up was really appreciable - ditch the dead weight!!
I don't know how easy these cars are to sell but I think one of the members on here had some trouble selling their earlier V6. I guess everything has it's price though and if you can get it cheap enough it'd be worth going for - have you checked what they have been selling for on ebay recently...
For sure - the whole product liability issue is one of the reasons I haven't yet gone into business for myself (automotive design engineer) The thought of something I have designed breaking and causing an accident scares me s**tless, even though I am confident in my abilities that it won't...
As far as I know the disc is retained using the usual method of countersunk screws (which inevitably seize and are a pain in the arse!) This will also help centre the disc on the hub
The disc will be clamped in place between the wheel and the hub - it is the wheel nuts that hold both the disc...
