Hi irish boy!!
Welcome to the site... post a thread in the owners register for your car number and we'll give you an extra Trophy owner star.
Got any pics of the srt-10 and the Trophy together?!
I'm sure it'll be fine - they're both high quality synthetic oils, just with slightly different ratings. It's only a litre of it too, so it'll be far outweighed by the right stuff.
If you are worrying still then contact oilman who'll know for all the differences and whether you have any need...
Which one of those vans is teh equivalent of the Renault Trafic?
A mate of mine is thinking of replacing his, and I'm sure would consider a Nissan version for the right money
Let me know the details and I'll pass them on.
I've been driving round MK/Bletchley all day so he could have easily have spotted me twice!
Did the driver look lost? If so I reckon you have a positive ID...
I've never had one of these but I know of people who have, in fact one person had someone knock on their door to ask them (having seen their current car on the drive!). Not sure where they got the addresses from though, whether it was manuacturer / dealer / whatever.
They did say it was an...
I must admit Steve, your posts did bring a smile to my face.. and I can certainly understand your embarrasment!
In response to some of the previous comments about the moderation here, I think that this site is pretty free in that respect - certainly I've seen little or no need to edit any of...
I can't remember who's that is but I recognise the plate, and the ClioTrophy sticker in the back window!!
Should be a good exhaust though - BTB make some quality kit. Hopefully we'll get a report soon!
Not on my Trophy fortunately, but the head unit is the same so I thought I'd test the collective wisdom here!
Been looking after my mates 03 plate 1.2 (mk2, ph2) while she's been away on holiday but the battery has gone flat...
We've jumped started the car and got a bit of charge back into...
Really? When I had mine at 140 I was impressed at how stable it was and how little it was affected by crosswinds. The wind noise from the door tops being sucked out by low pressure air was rather annoying though!
Any by the sound of it, the claim is suffering from pub BHP syndrome like every tom dick and harry who claims to have a 500bhp+ skyline having only swapped the air filter, exhaust and chip!
It's only limited to 140mph by phsyics rather than electronics - if your Trophy is standard then he's talking crap, was driving down a very long steep hill or your speedo is misreading.
I've maxed mine out and it was 140mph just like the stated top speed.
I thought I was being quite restrained this morning.....
Do you continue on the M40 down to the A34 junction or leave on the same exit as me? Didn't spot you again anyway - you'll probably need a full air horn system and a bank of spotlights to be able to attract my attention in the mornings...
Can't remember where I saw it but I've seen a pic of a white 182 - looked absolutely fantastic. If I could change one thing about the Trophy it would probably be to paint it white.
Sounds good!! (I mean the throttle bodies, not the diesel but I'm sure that's delightful too!)
O/T - Need a new set of pads sometime soon, got any recommendations? I don't expect to be doing any track work so a road-biased pad would be ideal.
