Very nice, not really a ford fan but i love both of the Focus RS's that they've produced.
My only thing with the new RS (and it's very petite i know) is just how........ errr 'tacky' the black 'fake' vents are at the rear of the front wings.
I made a relatively similar change to you, i went...

As much as i loved the Trophy and i do genuinely think it is the best car i'll ever own for the style of driving i like, i would be very surprised if it was genuinely quicker than a 200 round a track.
My experiences of the 200 are quite limited admittedly, but i do think it has a noticeable...
You'll find a set of genuine Renault Sport mats on ebay, usually a buy it now item for about £46 if i remember correctly.
I've just done the opposite to you, I've gone from a Trophy to a Megane R26.
Did you follow me down to the round about down the bottom there and see the guy in the wheel chair? He came down the road from the station looking like he was out of control and shot straight across the round about nearly hitting me head on!!! I reckon he was doing about 25mph!!!
So what cars...
I recently replaced the Trophy with a Megane F1 230 R26, never saw it coming but after a week of ownership i am really pleased with the car.
Still miss my old Trophy though.............
It's a nice low mileage car BUT they haven't taken much care of the interior and a few interior panels are scratched and one has a little tear in it so i will be replacing these as i hate the interior not being perfect, well as good as possible. Aside from this the body work is real good...
No real reason for the change, i've never been one to keep a car for a long period of time and i had the Trophy for a year and just fancied a change, i didn't advertise the T for sale, just responded to a wanted add and it went on from there.
I'm just going to keep it standard for a while and...
Well after selling my Trophy i realised that finding a replacement for it wasn't going to be easy, after considering many many different cars i decided to stick with another hatch and decided to stick with Renault as i really do like how they drive, very soon i found this...........
Only had...
Exactly, do you know of anyone that can do a good retrim? At the moment i think i'll just buy a new wheel as i like things to be as good as they can be and i'm a little unsure about having it retrimmed.
How come your replacing the column?
I see your steering wheel has started to go a little, it's only a matter of time i think before i bite the bullet and buy myself a new one as it's bugging the hell out of me!
Hi,
Is this still going ahead?
Also can i join this group buy via thia forum as i don't really want to spend a tenner joining ClioSport especially fi i join up and find i've missed out!!!

Have you replaced the brake switch yet though?
If not, even if you do think it probably isn't this i'd put a new one on first before you start worrying about it being anything else. They cost about £12 from renault.
When the switches start playing about it will put the esp+serv light on even...
After reading this i'm so glad i didn't go for these mounts, was so close to giving them a go at one point.
Not a cheap experiment though!!! I'm sure you'll shift them quickly without losing too much though.
I was out and about in the trophy yesterday but i don't think this was me though.
Your right, considering the trophy is such a small limited run i really do see a lot of them!!
A photo shoot up over ashdown forest is a must surely?
Who's in this area then

Hi Suzie,
Unfortunately you can't just buy the "rubbery" bits, a new wheel from Renault is a whopping £294inc vat.
I'm sure i've read somewhere that K-Tec are making carbon fiber replacements soon though, not to my taste but i guess at the price of a new wheel you'd have to consider them.

The exhaust headers and cat are more likely to brake with worn mounts due to excessive movement so surely the less movement the less likely they are to brake.
BenG - when i say bad past experiences it's only as you'd imagine, i had some fitted in a civic and it just shook the car to bits...
I was contemplating these mounts for my car but was a little nervous due to past experiences with stiffer mounts, in the end i just bought some new genuine items, even the new standard ones have made a massive difference.
I too will be interested in how you get on with them in the long term. A...
There is a temperature sensor just under the throttle body, unplug the connections give them a clean then refit.
I've put a zip tie around mine as it was a little loose for my likings.
Been fine over the last 11k miles.
Mine had the 5mm gap and no signs of oil leaking, it's only that the car felt a little different that i took them off to check them, with the dampers of the car and the springs removed you really shouldn't be able to move the dampers.
One of mine had about 30mm of free travel and the other one...
