i had a full fat 182 which i owned for just under 6 months. Was gutted really as i forked out for the 182 only to hear about the trophy about one month later. So i told myself over the months that followed that i wouldn't buy a trophy.
Anyway finally i got tired of seeing loads stock 182's and...
as olis said there is no stalk adapter for the trophy as it's different from phase 2 clio's.
Tis a real pain and once one is out i will have one and also upgrade the front speakers as well. I've never been in to louds stero's with subs etc but i do like a quality sound.
i've been playing forza on the xbox and as the cars handle/ brake completely differently it takes me a couple of hours to get back in GT4 mode. May well have a play tonight though!
since im still running in i've not done any hard braking in the trophy but i know on my old full fat the back would become so light under very hard braking from high speeds.
could argue that a supra is a "proper race car" but i know what you mean.
lol on this topic. i post on the type r forum as my mate is on there. We've posted so many topics about 182 vs type r. Everyone on there get's pissed off at us but we are only having a laugh. He likes the trophy i like the type r. Once i've got 1000 miles on the clock he wants to go and have a...
the rear of my car is looking a little empty. No rear seats or parcel shelf. Sure it's pointless as i save little weight but with the way the front seats are there is no way any of my mates could get in the back. So i thought id take them out! Can defo hear the exhaust much better than i could...
Nik is right.
Having just moved from a full fat 182 to the trophy and im missing the xenon headlights and the slightly better speakers but once i take it on some b-roads all is forgotten. Although i may do something about the stero/speakers.
Take it by the responce it's either hard in a trophy or your all to sensible to do it.
How can you tell? Hard to explain but you can feel it. Some lads from work do a similar commute to me when they follow me they say on several corners they can see the rear wheel lift clear off the ground...
Picking up my trophy tomorrow and saying goodbye to my 182 full fat. On my loverly 90 mile drive to work each day i get the full fat on three wheels on a decent number of corners and it's great fun to do. I know you can still three wheel a trophy but how hard do you have to push!??
Of course i...
I've seen it. Normally on my morning commute while going throught the gears to join the motorway.
I was told its peak power when the light is on hence why you should change!
Well i don't pick up my trophy until tomorrow but I picked up my 182 full fat with 2900 miles on it 6 months ago and after about 7000 miles it did feel quicker. I will run my trophy in a similar way to you. Then once over 1000 miles i will open it up for the next 500 or so miles.
My full fat has the odd rattles, as others have said they don't bother me either, in fact i dont really notice them. It's only when a passenger says where is that rattle coming from that i take notice.
