Bought myself a 1.9 diesel 206 for the backroad commuting that i do. Although everyday i would love the take the trophy but the 90 miles of backroads i do daily are now very muddy and laden with objects and stones after all the rain and wind that we have had. These backroads only get worse to as...
My Dad owned a superb condition arena red 993 targa for about 5 years. Although it was a weekend car and he didn't do that many miles in it. Think when he sold it, it had only done 25k. Tyres were replaced the most frequently i can't remember after how many miles though! Servicing costs weren't...
well i'm lucky enough (or rather no unlucky enough) to drive many many miles of beautiful country backroads each day. I'm about 10 miles off 18k and my suspension still feels as tight as when i got the car. Although if there had been a gradual decrease i probably wouldn't have noticed. Anyway...
I posted my interest on the renaultsport forum about buying one of the old cup racers a few months ago. Got chatting to one of the drivers in the current championship. He offered a good price for his car and any spare parts. Thing is i wouldn't do enough trackdays each year to warrent a large...
yup i've got it. Great game although i doublt i'll ever get all the cars, as doing the same races/tasks over and over again to get money does get a little boring. Although once you got the car your after hooning around the island and bumping in to random xbox live players is such a laugh. Am...
used to play pgr3 way way way to much. A few of us from here played in a league with some guys from pistonheads.
I'm playing Test drive unlimited at the moment and saints row. Although soon it'll be forza 2.
I do around 20k a year and i would like to do less miles but i can't help myself plus i have a long commute.
I'm after something RWD in the next 6 months or so but if im ever in a situation where i have a few grand spare and a space in the garage then i'll buy another trophy and keep it long term.
V-power dropped to 98.9 at my local shell the other day. Cheapest i've seen them selling their 'premium' fuel for 6+ months. It's nice to see more litres than £'s at the end of the fill up.
cheers for the info ollie. I'm always such a zombie when i go to my local shell that i've never seen or heard of the optimax card. Wish i had as i've been using optimax for the last 35k miles (including miles in my old 182).
I've applied for a normal card, which will do for now. I read for the...
My local normal rip off shell garage that sold optimax at 105.9 has just changed to v-power. Better still it's going for 99.9!!!
I had a huge smile on my face at the pump when i saw it was v-power and 99.9 then i thought to myself how sad am i!!! lol

pacey: I think it was aroun 37ish!
It wasn't so much that i had been driving like a granny but more like i was using every drop from the tank. I was late for work and i had to be there on time. So i took a risk of not filling up and think i ended up doing 37 miles with the light on!!! not a...
Not heard about V card however i did hear via pistonheads that 99ron is about in the UK.
Details on the card please? i.e. does it save you money or is it another one of these bloody points collecting cards?
Thanks for the link steve.

16k for mine. Started off just being motorway miles then i decided to give up on the f**king m25 and do backroads to and from work. So i'd say about 50% motorway 50% backroads. I've got another car to use for the daily commute but i never do as the trophy is to good. Still i might get a diesel...
sadly yes. Optimax has been 105.9 for the past 6 months!!!!! They are absolute jokers but i live just a couple of minutes away so i end up filling up there almost all the time.
