Re: RS2 Manifold For Sale
If you're interested in this manifold, then please don't be shy and give me your best offer. I want to move this on pretty soon.
Yes it seems to be all okay up to now. [-o< Just need a Maxogen and it's back to how it was. The power/torque is back and i didn't realise just how much I was losing with the RS2! The mid-high range torque seems to have shot right up. The RS2 did give me low end torque but I had no throttle...
I've finally got round to removing the manifold from my poor T so now the manifold it's up for sale. I've only done a few hundred miles with the kit which were back home from JMS and a trip up to RS Tuning. Not much more than that.
The actual manifold and the mounts are silver and the rest of...
You'd only get good service from JMS as long as they're in the money. He's been making me wait since mid July. Keeps telling me he'll sort something in a few days but days have turned into months now. Almost makes me think if he's deliberatly leading me on for a laugh or if he's genuinly...
I've decided to just sell the car after all the sh1t I've been through with that Tom. He's made me so Sick of it all that I just don't want the dam car any longer which I've babied for almost six years. It currently has the POS RS2 manifold fitted and would need to be removed as it's not working...
Anyone know if the softest setting on the Koni's is going to be softer, harder or about the same as the standard dampers? I definatly want to go back to the standard springs but may leave the dampers on if I can set them to be the same as the standard Sachs ones.
I've been contemplating about putting my Trophy suspension back to standard. The ride is too stiff for normal Leicester roads and the car sort of skips over bumps when powering out of sharp turns instead of absorbing them. I thought I'd be doing alot more track days but that didn't work out to...
Mine had the same problem a few years ago. Luckily for me it was within the three year warranty period because Renault had to replace the whole gearbox. They said my syncros were gone or something iirc. It was very low milage too. Around 17000m.
Hope yours is sorted out easily.
The RS2 manifold doesn't work in conjunction with my Catcams. There's a massive power loss so it was decided for me to not have the re-map as it just wasn't going to work in my car.
Having the cams with the RS2 and no re-map equals = a terrible Trophy.
I've saw the thread over on Cliosport...
I'm waiting on a refund. Have been waiting since mid-July when Tom and I agreed on the refund but still don't even have a confirmed booking date to have the dam thing removed off my poor T! :x I've stopped driving the T now until Tom sorts it all out.
On top of that, I sold my Maxogen...
Up for sale is my ITG Maxogen kit in excellent unmarked condition. £200 without delivery please. Price is not negotiable. Payment via bank transfer or cash only. Includes box and instructions.
Thanks
Yes this happend to me once. It was like that for atleast a couple of months until I put some cheap 95ron Tesco fuel in it and it sorted itself out straight away. I guess it didn't like the taste so got its' act together.
Took it to the mechanic today and he thinks it's due to the car not being driven for a long time. He said it's the steering fluid... and told me to do a few full locks and drive it a bit. It is better than yesterday when I moved the car after quite a while.
Hope that's all it is.
There's a knocking sound when turning the steering wheel from side to side. I can feel it slightly in the steering wheel and under my foot in the drivers footwell. Any thought of what it might be please?
Thanks
