Ed,, Just got to say the 172 looks stunning, poss a little too good to thrash up the Harewood hill...
Maybee something to contemplate is a remap to help remove some of the "grumpy" nature when cold...And poss extract a few more horses from the pony under the bonnet...
There was a company...
OOo eeerrr.. That looks a weapon....
And lots of fun...
If its primarily a hillclimb car, you want to use it for, there is some weight that looks like it can come out of the car. Rear wiper + motor, electric windows, rear seat, the spotlights etc etc...
It all depends on which class itl be...
Nice one Nick, a "proper" car for a change...
Yes they are a great touring car, I am going to be using mine in earnest this year as im going on a 3 week tour of Northern Spain, [Picos, Pyrenees, poss into north Portugal ],,,,,with a few mates...
Woop Woop...
There cant be many of that mileage and ownership left in circulation....
I would've though that Collecting Cars would be the best option. With a decent reserve...[£20K+]....

On my "old" Trophy I fitted a set of Vibratech mounts to my trophy.
They are a stiffer rubber mount.
My mounts didnt need replacing, but i got the vibratech ones at the right money so bought them.
Just to let you know they do transfer a slight little bit more vibration into the cabin / car, but...

The reason I ask is I am after some photos of standard ones.
Mine as far as I can see is standard, but I'm looking at making sure it is, ie correct brake caliper colour etc etc, you know what I mean...
Well after letting my Trophy go to its new owner a couple of years ago, my life has been "EVO" car less.
I have been hankering after the similar experience that the T had to offer, ie lightweight , nimble, and reasonably quick.
So as I had been hankering after my next toy for some time , I...
Yep the "dear god" moment is timeless...

Just having a sort out in my office, and I came across my Trophy calendar.
Its no16 of 50..
As I havnt got round to or have a space on my wall, I thought , as Ed put so much time and effort into getting these produced it should be admired by somebody else.

Whilst your in there,,,, oh, ill just take the engine out...
Itl be like a new car soon....
Good on ya.
Oh and have you seen the thread about the Welsh Weekender in 2025... Well worth going on if the car is ready....

Both cars now sadly with there new owners...
