It’s been up for sale on various platforms lately for around the 10k mark and seems to be a very honest car. If I did not have my Trophy right now I would have definitely bought it.

Im sorry to see that you have made the decision to let her go but it’s a shame the car hasn’t been used for so long. Looking forward to seeing the new owner bringing a very low mileage car back out in the open.

I’m afraid Ed is right. New drive shafts are no longer available. I was very fortunate to purchase a pair of new old stock from a former Trophy owner.

Maybe I’m an old git. From past experience of the alternatives a new set of cup dampers is an excellent short term replacement for a freshly refurbished set of Sachs.

Saw this last year on FB. Sorry to see but as said the car had the value of any smoker when it was parked up. Back in the early 80s it would be the norm to see E types,Astons,Lotus and many other prestige cars in a similar situation.

I have NS 2rs on my spare set of wheels and as others have said they are an excellent summer tyre ,perform very well in the wet but they are quite noisy especially at motorway speeds.

I have thought of getting one of these or the airflow chamber equivalent. My 2 garages are dry,draft free and have carpet on the floor. I do love my cars but like to use them, they aren’t worth mega money and wonder what long term benefit I would get from these units unless I left them resting...
