The squeaking doesn't sound metalic, could be a bushing, check the anti-rollbar bushing or the top mounts.

Be extra careful with the pressure bleed system. Don't let the bottle containing the new fluid go empty or you'll end up putting more air in the brake system, more as the air is under pressure! According to the haynes manual bleed them in sequence: left front right front left rear right rear

Yep, sounds like you have air in the abs and apparently a real bitch to get the air out of the system. You may have to bleed the system again until all the air has gone and will take a lot of fluid to do this. You may have to take it to Renault so that they can connect it up to their...

I have noticed the sluggish performance at times too. Was the same when I had a 172 years back. I can only attribute this to driving the car like "Miss Daisy" or when the car hasn't been driven for a while or doing a lot of short journeys. Taking the car out for regular "spirited" drives...

It's really difficult to guage any difference by pushing on top of the dampers. Best way is to have the door open and for you to stand on the doorsill and rock the car, or push the car up from the top of the door frame on each side. With this you can clearly see the difference in bounce. When...

Has it been remapped. I get this sometimes and I've found that giving the Trophy a good thrash seems to fix it.

Just to note that aluminium will suffer corrosion when in contact with copper especially when water and salt is added to the mix. Best use regular grease.
