From what I have managed to work out from reading on here, I briefly explained what I believe to be the gap, and linked to someone's photos explaining here:

ETA: Aucky, just realised you commented at the time. Definitely needs...
Again, I'm no expert, and I haven't got round to checking mine yet, but the way I understand it, the remote reservoir contains about half of the oil and gas needed for the damper to operate. If the gas leaks from the system, the remote reservoir sags, and the two parts move closer together as...
From what I understand it, the gap is from the horizontal bar joining the damper to the remote reservoir, to the top of the remote reservoir. There is a pic on here somewhere showing the difference.

The Trophy compared to the Seat Leon is completely different in most ways. The Leon was the new shape TDI 170 FR, so obviously being a diesel, didn't like being revved at all. The torque was amazing even from 1500-2000 revs, so there was no need to rev it.
Also, it was very quiet, the engine...
I'm doing OK so far, but I'm being extra careful as it's the first car I've owned for a long time with no marks on the wheels!
My Seat Leon FR I had before the Trophy was owned by a blind man before me. Well, he parked by braille, anyway!
O/T- When I bought my Trophy, the guy valeted it before...
Someone on CS forum is/was selling a brand new Trophy alloy, about £90 I think.

Showoff! Not jealous at all! =P~ A cracking set of cars there. =D>
Oh, and:
Almost overkill: (fastforward to 0:46)

Don't think these are overbraked as such, just badly engineered!:

A quick search has come up with this thread, but it's from 06-07, so may not be available any more:

Ooh, nice! I'd be interested in one of these too, so if you're PMing the details, can you PM me too please!?
Better than the 4kg metal bottle opener one from CS!
Looks good! I really like the bullets, splitter and fog lamp surrounds. I'm not as keen on the diamonds, had seen some for sale on the RS forum, but not seen any fitted to the Trophy. Think I prefer the standard ones.
You just need the rear bumper insert and exhaust surrounds now!
OT: Thanks...
As Renaultsport has already said, there's a guy on here selling a passenger side Sachs shock - why not buy that or the one offered by BenG, and get them rebuilt. If the seats are the only reason for wanting a Trophy, there are a few FF182s out there with the seats fitted, you could buy a FF182...
Yeah, was a great race. It probably would've been boring if it was dry, but luckily it wasn't, so the weather made it entertaining!
If the Red Bull's were reliable, I think Vettel would be unbeatable.
Lewis was a bit of a kn0b to be honest - one minute he's moaning his (20-odd lap old) tyres...
They look good, but I'm surprised there's that much difference in weight! (I assume that is including tyres - so the alloys are lighter maybe, but the extra rubber makes it heavier?)
Out of interest, did you go for 15s purely for price of track tyres?
Looks like a nice fun circuit! The Boxster at the start was going a bit slow, weren't they? Also, what is the orange supercar overtaken at 1:40? Looks like a Detomaso? I thought Muira at first, but the rear buttresses don't look right.
Were those cones not really annoying? I've not done any...
There was one of these on CS the other day, it was a bit of a bun-fight, people fighting for it. There's some bloke in Mexico who's apparently been after one for months and months, but no-one would sell to him! I Think the guy selling finally agreed to ship to Mexico, so he was as happy as a pig...
When you unlock the car, the LED (by the gearstick) will flash a certain number of times to tell you the reason the alarm has gone off. According to the alarm manual, the reasons are as follows:
1 blink - doors, bonnet, boot have been opened
2 blinks - additional sensor triggered
3 blinks -...
