I truly believe Renault have no interest in ordering any of these dampers and its all lies and bs to make us go away.
Its just too small in numbers for a manufacturer to bother with,wrong but probably true.
You need to get them as tight as possible with your hands and make sure the teeth are fully in before you start to squeeze them up
other wise as soon as it goes on full lock the boot will slip off the joint,also make sure no traces of grease are on the joint where the boot goes.

they look good quality clips and grease a lot less than £15 you get change from a fiver.
After market HID kits will soon fail a MOT if fitted to a halogen lamp,Also xenon's are required that 'IF' self levelling and washers jets are fitted they must work for the MOT.Bit of a grey area really as if they are not fitted you cant test them so cant fail them ?

You are right 6 screws in total also two plastic clips under the spoiler,take your wife's advice as the clips will most likely break.
Put some kind of detergent,i use autosmart G101 in the shut then fire the pressure washer in there sorted.
If it was me and the noise is now too much,i would sell the Orb and look around for another system rather than cut up the Orb.
But its totally your choice.
Sir_Dave is right the 172 has a 4 into 1 design manifold (short) while the 182 has a 4-2-1 design manifold (much longer)
this is for better gas flow and hence the need to avoid the front roll bar.:)
