If you want a relatively quiet exhaust then this is a good option. Mine did come with a very small hole where they tacked on one of the mounts but other than that it seems a decent job. I ended up slotting the holes in my rear mounts to get it to sit well in the bumper too but for reference my...
My bike was reasonable when I renewed it back in the summer. It seems to go down every year unlike the car which seems to go up slightly each time. Frustrating!
No doubt they are not the worst pads - EBC yellows are far worse, but for the driving that I was doing I was getting caught out which was unacceptable to me. Not had that with Pagids so that's my preference.
Mark is spot on. If you can afford it Pagid blues are far better from cold and last for ages. I took my DS2500 off after a few thousand miles as I thought they were a bit of a liability. My first set of Pagids and HC's must have lasted at least 40k. Make sure you shop around as prices vary a...
I recently phoned my local Renault garage to get some Bosch flat wiper blades armed with the part number from on here. They said they weren't even in stock to order. I bought them from wiperblades.co.uk and they arrived a couple of days later. Should have got them years ago. So much better I think..
Guys, I have 15 inch steels for mine. They came from a German tyre company as I had my Trophy in Munich for a while. I had a look at them today and they are built by KFZ model number 8175. They are 15 x 6.0 et 43 built to fit Clio and Megane and clear the caliper fine.
I have to say though...
I don't really agree with this thread. If you get bored of cars quickly then you should probably leave it standard but if you want to keep it for a while then why not improve it. Most of the mods mentioned are easily put back. The Trophy is a good car out of the factory but it could be better. A...
I thought that would be the case - seems a shame though as I already thought the PE2's were too soft. I might have to stick the winters on and get more Hankooks for next year!
Thanks.
So what are people thinking for tyres now? My Hankook RS2's are worn out and although they are great in the dry I'm not keen to run them in the wet as grip feels considerably behind PE2 levels. PS3? Eagle F1?
I already have winters but only use them for really bleak weather as they are only 185...
This has troubled me from the start. I had my manifolds matched at Angelworks about 4 years ago and Ben showed me CAD images of an inlet manifold 'very' much like the RS2 that he'd had modelled up for him (because I'm a modeller). Some of you may remember talk of something special that he was...
I would add some front camber and a whiteline rear anti-roll bar to improve the handling. Matched inlets and a decent remap if you want a bit more go (not much). 182 rear seats. If you want to track it then springs and extra wheels instead of engine mods but otherwise I wouldn't bother changing...
The more you use it the better value it is in my opinion. I guess mines depreciated £10k in 100,000 miles but if I'd only done 20,000 it will have still lost £5k. I haven't had to pay for services and belts without doing the miles either. At the end of the day it's relatively cheap and fun to...
Yeah try and find out the number. It's on the metal frame of the drivers seat. I drive past it on the way to work but when i searched for T7PHY on here it didn't Give much away. It's been there for a good month or so and it needs a splitter.
I would be interested to know where they source...
I don't think aurok have ever been on here. People have used them for alignment and Matt said he had an exclusive agreement with them to do rebuilds a while back. There was someone else mentioned on here too that does them cheaper than BG. I'll have a look.
As Hoolio said, if you leave it outside and don't use it for long periods the rust penetrates the discs. Mine rust quickly if it rains but clean up as soon as I use it, which is most days. My brothers boxster is the same. A couple of weeks and the brakes can seize up.
