Thanks for those Nick.
Bloody hell, I would have never guessed a R53 would go for that, low mileage accepted.
For that money I'd be going GP1/GP2, you have a proper special feeling car and they should hold their money as well.
Those Ferrari editions are properly cool little things, I knew they...
Definitely don't start into writing anything at this hour Ed, might hear about some
of your Peugeot adventures at some other time.
Love it @photo_ed , looks like you had a fun time exploring some of the local Boreens ;) 😂
You cant escape hitting the odd cattle crossing intersection, in these...
Your only adding to your back catalogue now Ed....
We have the Renault and Mini back catalogue, waiting to hear a bit more about
the Peugeot years now ;)
Especially when their equipped with an Ed special, bit of engine trickery
That 1.6 205 sounds like it was a little cracker.
Not a...
Great review there Mark.
Though I think there was only ever going to be one outcome between those two.
Although the Alpine is a decent first attempt at something like a hot hatch, obviously
there is still a lot of fine detailing to go into a car like that, if its to approach the driving...
I think you would find it very hard to find a better example, outside of some museum at least Ed.
Non sunroof cars seemingly are a lot harder to find as so many of the few that were actually
made without a sunroof, were very sought after for Rallying.
They wanted the solid roof as it likely...
Looking at those sort of prices, Marc will be joining the millionaire class pretty soon then 😂
Who needs stocks and shares, just buy old Renault parts and store them until they become NLA ;)
I would imagine late 1960's Italian aluminium wouldn't be able to stand up to much of an impact alright.
Stunning car, great to see drivers of all ages properly enjoying themselves and not hikding back,no matter how valuable the cars are.
I can only imagine some of the motorsport inspired nooks and crannies
on your GT4, wise decision using a blower there.
You might be losing a few fingers otherwise ;)
PPF would also give you that bit more peace of mind when it comes to your
paintwork as well obviously.
Nice collection of...
@NickReilly063 Loving that Mercedes, never seen that colour before, looks unreal.
What's it called?
I would quite happily bomb around in that car for a good while.
Must be a pretty decent engine under the bonnet as well I'm guessing.
To be fair, Mercedes have some properly nice colours to...
If the Ghostbusters started a sideline in litter/leaf clearing, they would be strapping
one of those on.
I've got to admit, reading this thread, its the first time I've ever seen someone using
something like a leaf blower to dry a car, I've learned something new this evening ;)
I thought I...
Top job Ed 👍
I can see you sitting in the garden on a warm sunny evening, cup of tea/cold beer/ice-cream
in hand, pure contentment, looking at the perfect set of exhaust cans, glistening in the sunshine
Job done.
Would be a good choice to have, great to see such. wide variety of makes/models.
They nearly could have had a mini time trial with the rally cars, driving around the
straw bales in the field next door, Gymkhana style 😉
What an evening that was.
If Carlsberg did perfect car gatherings.
And just to casually see two absolute legends from the world of rallying just casually drop in, in their helicopter....
Wow!!!
And that R5 Turbo, just perfect
While Jonny Smith has his infamous can of hope, you have your just as powerful,
rattle can(s) of restorative hope Ed ;)
I think you might have a good sideline business going there.
Big congrats to the three of you @SharkyUK @NickReilly063 and @photo_ed 👍
The site will continue on, being in very safe and capable hands.
Its great for both any current and those looking to the future, possibly owning a Trophy, to have a resource like this.
I'd say you had the thumb worn off you Nick, refreshing the page to see
if Ed stuck up the picture of his Spring(s) ;) 😂
Good buy for someone there Ed 👍
I would imagine the ones from the earlier years might be worth a bit in the future and be more in demand.
The period from when they launched in 1998 to the mid 2000's,to me,was both peak car and peak Evo.
Even though I have pretty much bought Evo from the very first issue,I think peak Evo...
Great action shot Ed.
I hope Mrs. Ed is being well compensated for standing on those corner exits, ready to start snapping
to catch those much sought after, tripod shots 👍
Ah nice,I'm a bit partial to some JDM goodness myself.
I think cars like the 350Z will become much more valued for what they offered, not too many smallish coupes that are manual,RWD and V6 up front being made these days.
