Completely disagree. Had mine almost 5yrs. Plan on keeping it another 5. So i'm getting mine done. It's on 26k. If i leave it to 40k it would be 8yrs old
I'm not on CS so can't watch... but chavs own all sorts of cars regardless. Buy the one you want and enjoy it the way you want to. Wether that's in a fast food car park or where ever. As long as you are happy thats all that matters, right?
All 4 of my wheels still have the original transfer on. Hope this pic helps you. As you can see the 'r' has all but gone and there's a small piece missing from the 'C'.
There's a hand car wash just up the road from me on the bypass. It amazes me some of the cars that i've seen there. I particularly remember seeing a new M3  as well as various Mercs, Jags and Audis. Are they all mad?
It's a waste of money me spending big bucks on a 205 as i only have one garage and T sleeps in there... however this one is tempting me at the mo.
Seems straight and original and the phase interior that i really like. If it didn't have the sunroof i'd snatch the guys hand off... it's too cheap...
Except the brakes when the originals need replacing. :)
I want my T to look like this when it's a similar age (pic taken this year)

The ultimate 205GTi for me is a white non sunroof 1.9, standard of course.
I nearly fell off my chair when i saw the price of this one...

You pays the money you makes the choices.
There's a G reg 205GTi on Pistonheads for £5500. The interior looks like new =P~

hi Leeroy.
it's all a matter of personal choice. asking people on a clio trophy forum that question is going to get an obvious answer. the answer from me is drive both and buy the one YOU like the most.
why not try other cars in your price range from Ford or Honda for example?
Good Luck
I've owned 262 from new and even if i won the Euro Lottery i wouldn't part with it. no stick-on carbon fibre or colour coded interior [-X - even has the original wiper stalk. it's a classic that no one bats an eyelid at which is huge fun to drive and is here to stay. :)
