I wasn't sure whether or not to post this as I expect there may be differing views and opinions as to whether or not it's a good thing... Let me explain. This website is a fantastic resource for information pertaining to these awesome little cars. One of the best sections, I feel, is the Trophy...

Pretty much what @Cue said... I have the more capable car in terms of the Porsche GT4 but it doesn't dilute the fun I get from driving the Clio Trophy. Leagues apart in terms of performance and ability, and only a fraction behind in terms of outright fun and smiles. I don't find the Trophy too...

I was surprised that the EP3 Type-R ranked so highly. Don't get me wrong, I still own one now and l love it... obviously there is still love for it out there in the voting PH community. I won't lie, I'm quite happy with my small trio of cars. :)

Tempted to sell my pristine and unmolested example though... 0 miles on its 5th engine so far... :ROFLMAO: (y) EDIT: Good luck with the search!

I have three sets of Turinis - two are Trophy fitment and one set is Cup fitment. They all work just fine in my experience. EDIT: Obviously not mixing and matching different offsets though!!!! Hahahahaha!

Thank you mate :) I have to admit that I like the way that particular photo turned out. Yes - happy, happy, joy, joy. :) Trophy v1.0 is all but done mate. There are literally a few minor things left and then ready for MOT and tax.

Entering into the 6th month of ownership and I'm still loving and enjoying this thing, although the downturn in weather at this time of year means it won't be seeing too many miles over the winter months. It had its first major service last week (and warranty work for a faulty parking e-brake)...

Did these sell at all? Both of my front two springs have snapped. :(

Same old story mate... quite a few people interested. Followed by, "What's your best price?" "I'll give you £150." I got fed up in the end. Time wasters and jokers! I'm half tempted to keep them myself seeing as I'm now keeping the Trophy!

That's a shame mate... ;) I kinda get your dilemma though. Our Type-R has decided to throw a wobbly for the first time in 135,000 miles and needs a new gearbox. I'm having to use the GT4 as a daily. It's both awesome and painful in equal measure!

A few 'battle scars' are fine. :) The main thing is you're enjoying it mate! That said, if you're going to the trouble and cost of a front-end respray (assuming it happens) then I would also factor in the cost of PPF! Definitely worth it! But that's easy for me to say as I didn't have to pay for...

Yessir - PPF and ceramic coated, too. It's an absolute joy to clean. :)

Interesting... maybe if said Swiss owner had tried it on a broken British B-road...! :ROFLMAO::LOL: I think the Trophy is absolutely superb, even given the fact it is some 15 years old now. Still as much fun to hustle along your favourite back roads as they ever were. I can't ever recall...
