Are you referring to the aux or cambelt Steve? - Had my aux done by Ben @ AWT when I had the 3yr/36k service done some months back (car on approx. 28k at that time). My point was squarely aimed at very early changing of the cambelt, not the aux..
As I understand it, there's a chance that if the aux belt goes, it can get tangled up in the cam belt and thus, as you say, engine goes boom...!!
In reply to Hoolio's point on changing the cam belt prior to 5 yrs/72k - personally I wouldn't bother - I have spoken to a couple of people from...
Ben, my plan is to move on from permaguard and do what I can to keep the car smart whilst I get a couple of parking dents pulled out and various other things, then if I'm not proficient with a d/a polisher, having practiced elsewhere, I shall get mine porfersionally detailed in order to have a...
Cue, do you use this on top of the Permaguard?
I have been discussing this all at length with J and the thread that I started a while back on here.
Also to note regarding the discussion on the use of a sealant post polish and pre wax - I read that some waxes don't react well to a certain type...
:lol: :lol: I know I'd rather have the barge :wink:
- I think it's like the bus in Harry Potter.. When you approach an oncoming object (read Mondeo on a narrow country lane!), it miraculously alters it's width to fit the gap.. Eh Dallas! :D
Anyway, back on topic, I think the front of this...
This just aggravates me..

Why do the government try to suggest that they're remotely 'green' minded and yet they blindly push incentives that are actually completely the reverse and then will most likely penalise us if we don't take them up?!
I had exactly this problem when I fitted my DS2500. I didn't remove the shims and didn't file them down sufficiently, therefore they were too tight in the pad carier and were not retracting from the face of the disk. I removed them the following day, filed down the sides and put on some more...
Was interesting following the Civic. I was trying to anticipate Dallas' acceleration when we hit open sections. He was definitely pulling away although maybe not as vastly as I had anticipated. Wouldn't be possible for me to compare standing start acceleration as we were 4 up when I had a ride...
Cheers for compliments
Hearing the VTEC coming from afar was great and being inside watching the shift indicator slowly light up in spite of the fact that it sounded like a gear change was necessary some time ago was ace!
Think that's one of my favourite shots. It needs a little more time...
Another great meet. Not as much convoy driving as the previous few outings but a good opportunity to chat and also to get some passenger rides! (Big thanks to Dallas for negotiating the tight gaps, 4 up in the blue barge! Also to Jules and Luke for back to back Orb race/soft comparisons!).
Here...
Ok so a slightly simpler question
For the following is a number sequence:
1,2,6,42,1806,...
a) Form an equation in terms of n to represent this sequence
b) Provide the next number in the sequene
I guess it could be argued that whatever the circumstance, as a drunk driver, A could have reacted inappropriately in such a way as to present an unavoidable accident to B.
ANSWERS

(a) What is the name of the organ that produces enzymes protease, lipase and amylase?

(b) What is the name of the enzyme that digests fat?

I've worked out 2 expressions, one for h and one for r.
h = 2500/(pi)r^2
r = (2500/(pi)h)^1/2
From here I can't remember how to find the minimum values..
For those scared of maths... :wink:

(c) Name two products when fat is digested
As per some previous comments, my degree was fairly maths/science based and I battled through maths A-Level so I would like to have a chance to remind myself of my long lost mathematical skills... Plus languages etc.
As I suggested originally - a random daily subject, not always maths! :D
Not sure, I'll try to remember to find out when I get home.
I leave my pedals on, just remove my seat post. Rotate the bars so that they protrude out of the bag – there’s no way around that. Mine only protrude about as much as the width of the grips. To give you an idea of size, my mate rides a...
I had my aux belt changed at Angelworks a couple of weeks ago and I can safely say that it did not take more than 2 hours and that was inclusive of some time spent struggling to remove a tool from the side of the engine before lowering it back in.
