I carry my spare in the boot at all times. Unless you need to carry a shit load of kit in the boot then you will hardly notice it's there.
I got mine from ebay with an almost new Exalto, very good price!
I'm waiting on Nik getting back to me with regards to using the ClioTrophy.co.uk logo as Justmatz seem to think that the Clio Trophy font etc is copyright. How did we get around this with the keyrings?
Brian
I bought one from ebay, slight scuff with an almost brand new tyre, £85 delivered.
His user name on ebay is CIT-REN, he is a breaker and has only sold 2 Turinis from a scrapped Trophy, maybe worth dropping him a line!
I'm off 20th to represent work in a few competitions then hopefuly for another 3 weeks in March, can't wait.
Off to Saalbach in Austria just for a week on the 20th Jan, trying to extend it for 2 weeks!
LOL, that made my night reading that. I work away and when I get home on days off the first thing I do is find an excuse to take the Trophy out. My GF loves me for it.....honest!
Went to reno about this on Friday but no luck!! Apparently they are only covered under warrenty for 12 months as they are a consumable ''just like your brakes mate'' he told me. I said that I knew of atleast one other Trophy with the same problem and he said ''are you sure, there are only 500...
I have noticed recently that in the wet the brakes seem to ''fade'' quite easily. I know that the brakes on the Trophy are not the best in the world but these are not good. It happened today at a roundabout, and it was dry, I hit the brakes, got a little bite then nothing.
My discs were new...
French government could be a plan.
It is not just mine so surely if there is a few other cars with the same problem, they would/should have to change them.
Got it booked in today. Guy on the phone asked about the corrosion and said if the seals are intact they will basically send me packing. Would I be right not to accept this and really pester them to replace it?
