Yeah, can be a bit of a nightmare. TBH I'm taking it very easy at the moment, first RWD car I've had so not wanting to make a prat of myself too quickly, lol!
No not the face lift (if you can call it that). Plan to put the 17'' wheels from the facelift model. They look a bit better than the 16's IMO!
Some comedy moments so far on roundabouts etc, all controlled of course(or just good luck) lol!
It sounds awesome with the roof up so can't wait...
Hi Steve,
I thought that was you selling up, good move to make over to the lotus. I'm now driving an S2000, cracking car it is.
I'm still working in NI so we need to meet up some time for a blast!
Brian
Sorry no pic as of yet.
After selling the Trophy to buy a diesel, I no longer need to travel to the moon and back every week to get to work. So the DIEsel was sold and made way for our ....... Honda S2000.
It's such an awesome car to drive and it just loves to rev. It's Nurburg Blue...
These are still for sale. After I posted this here and on CS, some guy wasted my time and was haggling over £5  Cheap at half the price for these tyres. I didn't have the time to re-list them due to moving house, work commitments etc.
So, anyone want a bargain set of Exaltos...
I was on a job to Italy (lake Garda) with work and drove there and back. Will certainly be hitting France/Italy when the new car arrives. Some really awesome roads. From the Mont Blanc tunnel back into France, a dream raod for a Trophy.
As some of you will be aware I sold my Trophy about 2/3 months ago and bought a diesel due to amount of miles I was commuting. Well different job means I now don't need a diesel and can go back to something more fun.
Mrs and I both love the Integra DC5 (champ white) so will be looking around...
First one was on the 22nd Oct in Hythe passing the Prince Charles Pub.
Second was a Swiss Trophy at the first road toll booth on the France side of the Mont Blanc Tunnel on the 31st Oct.
3rd one was T2 PHY on the M20 heading towards Folkstone.
My little Ibiza has auto wind passenger window, nice touch but don't know if I could be bothered with the hassle of fitting one to my car if it didnt have it.
For sale i have my beloved moonstone blue 206 GTI, purchase of house forces sale. You wont find one of this age any cheaper, have to get rid in the next couple of days for the cash.
18,100 miles, moonstone blue, 1 lady owner,FSH, Manual, 16" nimrod alloys wheels, Fully colour coded, ABS...
Well said!! IMO rolling roads are only good for 2 things.....Tuning and pub figures. At the end of the day it's how the car drives that is most important.
If I were you I would be happy with those gains.
I have 2 Exaltos that I bought from a mate. They were on the rear of his 182 Cup when it was rear ended. Due to me not having a Trophy anymore :( I don't need them!
They have covered approx 800/1000 miles but unfortunately I can't be exact.
Looking for £100 for them both. Local...
It is a mile munching diesel.
2004 Seat Leon Cupra 150 TDi to be exact. It has around 150bhp (as the car title states) and approx 235lb/ft torque. Will be covering crazy miles soon and need to cut monthly costs with wedding etc approaching.
The guy that bought it is registered on here...
After almost 12 months of awesome motoring in #488, it sold earlier this morning.
Was really sad to see it go however, Jim knows what is expected of him in the Trophy up keep, lol. I'm sure you will enjoy it mate.
Pick up the new car in a few days, it's certainly not going to be like...
Where exactly you heading up north? I work in Lossiemouth - between Inverness and Aberdeen - and some excellent roads about there that I can point you in the direction of.
My fiances beloved pug 206 GTI has to go due to our house purchase..17,200 miles, moonstone blue, 1 former owner,FSH, Manual, 16" nimrod alloys wheels, Fully colour coded, ABS, PAS, climate control/Aircon, 6 stack Cd Player, auto headlights, auto wipers, on-board computer, half leather/grey...
Going by then all the Trophys for sale on PH, this IMO is priced fairly.
I know what you mean, when I bought this car it was the only for sale in Scotland at the time, they are everywhere now, common as muck!!
