Reserecting a thread from its slumber.
I'm struggling to find anyone to wet paint the alloys in the factory colour. This is the powdercoat match I've seen.
Is this close enough to the factory colour or can I get a recommendation for a shop that can do the closet factory colour match.
Incase anyone else is interested, I enquired about the rear spoiler as I wanted one a spare for the hoard. They are after £500 for the spoiler and bootlid. It's a bit too much for me so will grab one off Oreca when I'm next over in Europe.
The renault oem battery was listed as
BAT LB1 47AH 420A - 7711130087
Any 063 battery will do as they 182's don't struggle to start and it's unlikely we will fit some banging bass in the boot. I have a GSF own brand 44Ah one presently and it works perfectly.
Hi all,
Before the car gets painted and while the car is being stripped I'm trying to work out how the side skirt stickers were installed by Renault.
Did the factory apply them above the paint or did they fit the stickers and then lacquer over them.

Is this a generic part on the mk2 clios? Does anyone have a reputable supplier as I'm guessing you can only get second hand or pattern parts nowadays.
Front slam panel - the one I found
Thats awful, I'm going to get mine done in the coming months but will really look into the companies reviews before committing now.
That's a lot of rust to have appeared in two years. I can't see a bit of moisture being the cause, it looks like inside wasn't rust inhibited and treated.
A spare bonnet and wing mirror caps off a capsicum red clio at a scrap yard. (Carlton, S71 3HJ). Planning on getting them resprayed alongside the car and put in storage.
I may have an automotive hoarding problem.
As titled, does anyone live near Barnsley that could pick up some parts from a scrap yard for me?
I'll arrange to come after work to collect from you.
Mike
Renault use a lot of friction to hold the gearknob on. Brute force is needed.
In regards to replacements, most of the owners on here have mk2 clios so can't comment on quality of replacements. Looking on ebay they all the seem to be the same design.
The Cliosport forums should be able to...
The paint colour code is Ixell 205-110. They are painted by the way, there are no powder coat colours that are an exact match.
Originally the wheels had a speedline sticker under the gloss coat. Although Speedline don't offer replacement stickers anymore there is a seller on ebay that offers...
