Please can someone have a look under their centre console/ash tray at their airbag ECU and tell me both part numbers? I've tried to get this from a Renault but they don't seem to know what controls the airbags in a Trophy. Bizarre.
At 60k they should have been refurbed at least once. Give it the bounce test, push down on the headlights, if the front end moves excessively then they are fcuked.
At that mileage I'd say get the dephaser done too - You'll be looking at around £600 from a specialist + at least £450 for the damper rebuild.
I would go for it at £3k.

Feel free to make me an offer.
Right i've had a think, and I'm advertising it for £3800 now. If it doesn't sell quickly, i'll sell the bits off, return to standard and just keep it.
If i keep it for a couple of years it will be worth fcuk all anyway.
If the car wasn't a cat D it would be worth around 5200, going by what others are advertised for. They are normally 20% less than a non cat d, thus making it reasonably priced.
Obviously any offer around £4k would be considered which i think i still a fairly cheap car.
But he's denying all knowledge, so its impossible to prove that he actually knew.
I'm tempted to keep it and i do love driving it, but the whole experience has left me feeling pretty annoyed.
Its my own fault really, but stupidly i trusted the guy - I've got a text from him saying it was clear. Now he says that he was not aware, but its proving this fact that is pretty much impossible. Hopefully i haven't lost too much money but i've learnt a good lesson - trust no fcuker!

I looked at an 80,000 inferno cup with recaros, the guy wanted £3500 for that. I've found a lower mileage trophy for £3500 with belts done, taxed and mot'd. Yeah the dampers need a rebuild, but still extremely cheap!
