I'd say about right, especially as the cambelt has been done. Only thing against it at that price would be the plate being an 05 and not 55. Sounds soft I know but it does make a difference

If you want to uprate the brakes it can be done very cheap. Brembo HC discs £60 Ferodo DS2500 £90 or Mintex 1144s for similar money.(or Pagid Blues at £140) Braided lines will also help but not a must. Main thing is good fluid well bled.

Just paid £7800 for a 55 plate on 19k. Aux belt done and cambelt due in a year. Great body work (even better now thanks to Zymol Concours and a Maguires G220) DS2500 with lots left. So on the back of that I'd expect to pay high 6s for a 40k 05 plate one.

Exactly. They may buy some fancy stuff (although I doubt it) but a cheap set well setup will be much better than an expensive set mess about with by some no knowledge chav. Infact I bet there are tons of car running expensive coilover kits that handle way worse than standard.

They did not make adjustable dampers non adjustable they used dampers from a company that makes adjustables fit a car and then locked them so owners would not ruin the handling, crash and sue them. The best brains at Renault setup the best hot hatch ever so why unpin them? Mine are unpinned...

Do you need the full aux belt kit when doing the cambelt?? When my 172 had its belts done it was a cambelt kit with 3 pullys and an aux belt on its own.

I'm in if the price gets down to £50 if not it's renaultsport ones from the stealers
