If its on the back IMO it should be fine. Big difference on track. My fronts were absolutely destroyed but the backs we fine. You know what health and safety are like these days if it wont safe they would not allow it. As long as its not near the side wall it would not overly bother me However...

I have a brilliant towel! Got it free from ne detailing! It's blue and dimpley!! Anyway a towel is only as good as the wax IMO! I use a very good wax so drying is a piece of piss! Infact I can actually use water to dry my car!

Right I have found out the difference! An RS192 has a box per pipe, this has only 1 box that 2 pipes come from ! From a performance point of vue there will be nothing in it but the normal may be a bit louder!!

You just said party the box due to speed of change then went on to say ratios, which is the box and power output which is helped by the box too! The atw figure with this box would be approx 10bhp more than a standard box on a 182

It would be cool for about 5 minutes. But it would give you a lot of performance. Old cup racers did 0-100mph in around ten seconds due to this gearbox. Obviously they have a little more power and less weight but not stripping a 172 and adding 20bhp would make it do 10s to 100mph

Went past 20k about 2 weeks ago and I think its about 20150 now. Dont use it much, I think I'll be doing about 4k per year, its just sat in the garage covered in Zymol Concours so it will still be in top nick for years to come.

I believe the gearbox dunt fit!! Seen a couple of mk2 clios with turbo VAG units in!!

The engine should feel the oposite to that i.e. Flat under 5 and once you hit 5250 the engine note should change and you'll feel a big step up in power! As for tyres I have serious doubts about any cars not on pe2s (apart from track rubber)
