Last owner had a spare wheel but I never keep it in the car and it gets on my nerves having to move it around when getting car in an out of the garage.
It has a small curb mark and a very small chip on one of the spokes, pics will be up soon.
Tyre looks to have around 4mm and sidewalls are all...
For me when it comes to detailing its not shine you get on day one its the ease of getting that shine back after a period of time.
After putting in some serious graft last September it takes me less than an hour to get the outside of the car looking amazing.
Whatever you do don't polish it, it's a world of headaches!! Tried on my cup and it never looked great, even if you pay for it for me it's still not perfect!
Therefore my advice would be a wire brush!! It comes up great!!
The graph of the supercharger is similar to a 2 stroke engine.
As for turbos well its all in the maping.
Most people seem to map it for max possible boost at any given moment so as the revs climb the boost drops so therefore so does torque.
However it can be maped in such a way to give...
The rears don't need any messing with! Infact on the most track focused Clio I.e. 172 cup the rears we so bad they failed mots but having drive both on track I have to say I prefer the 172 cups setup to the trophy's!
Rather than just some bolt on mods I'd rather speculate my cash on strengthening the whole engine and fitting custom cams that would allow it to rev beyond 9000 rpm, then lower the gearing to keep the max speed in each gear the same as now!!
Bet that would cost big big money!!
I'm hoping for a premium around 600!
When I changed to the trophy from my 225f1 I was told my premium was 410, that was with 5years no claims an no claims and 3 points!
This year it will be 3 years no claims and a total loss theft claim!
You'll need new wheels for R888s, dont come in 205/45/16 You could try Hankook RS2s or Toyo R1Rs!!!!
Brakes, spend £30 more and get Pagid Blues!! I have used both on track and Pagid are better and better on the road too.
Exhaust well had a k-tec on my 172 Cup, nice sound!!!
As for panel...
Mine ran 192 at ric wood motorsport!
Interestingly meganes were down compared to running at rs tuning and Clio were obviously up!
So don't say that RR reads over cos it doesn't! What it does imply is that RRs a bollox!
Think about it, most people believe that clios ate down on power compared...
fair comment but I have seen loads of trophies in my time and I know mine is good too! 21k, 4 oil changes, permagard (is that right Colin?) for 3 years, now been machined and covered with zymol concours and mechanically spot on!!
You can't say it on the other forum  but I dont think a 200 Cup is quicker that a Trophy. The test that 5th gear did 182 Cup vs 200 Cup came up with a 2 second gap but Renault quoted 1-2 seconds per mile 182 Cup vs Trophy so that would put em square. However the owner of the 182 cup said...
