Great shots,
We went to the lakes last year (Hardknott Pass)for a run but I have to say I prefer North Yorkshire roads wise but The Lakes are better for pics!!
For me the best product i have used by hand is Zymol HD Clense(actually I'd say thats my favourite product ever) but it is quite pricey at £28 for 250ml and you need a wax after using it as contains no wax. I use it with the pads that came with the kit. Just wipe on with a bit of pressue and...
I have just bought some Sabelt ones with the double buckle so I can keep them in all the time.
I'm hoping I can use the bolts for the isofix bar but also keep the isofix in cos I do use it from time to time.
Having just looked at the bar I think I can do it but it just depends on this fixings...
Personally I think its worth it.
The stuff I use is 160 and I think that is worth it and it is 47% Carnuba and Paul Daltons stuff is 78% I think so for me thats fine especially when you think that Zymol Solaris was(all tubs sold) £30k.
Also please dont think I'm bragging about my detailing...
Paul Dalton now has his own Swissvax product, £500 per tub, which is a barging when you compare it to Zymol Solaris that has similar Carnuba content. I know you can refil the Solaris but it costs about £300 in post and packing to do so to get the same value you'd have to fill it up around 150 times.
True, 7 years is a long time!!
I think trophy owners are more loyal then anyone to pe2s!
Have said that I have different tyres but that's because I wrecked the pe2s sidewall on track so have more tracky tyres
If pe2s do go at least this will be a good alternative, well on face value anyway!
Thing is if Michelin have owt about them they should realise that there are 1000s of 182s still around so should keep making them!
Only £100??
Think I spent somewhere in the region of £600 last year!!
Nothing this year as yet and no plans to spend owt either! Although I am going to a swissvax demo in a month!!
Yeah it will be that! I use billberry safe wheel cleaner and on my meg the bolts were fine! These were rusty before I got the car! I tried to shine them with went n dry and they were fine for about 5 mins and then they go worse than before
Worth £10.99??
If you like them just a word of warning, they do not leave much room at all to get the tool in to remove them and in atempting to remove 3 as a test I broke one. So my advice would be if you swap wheels alot you'll probably ruin quite a few and need to buy more quite soon...
Personally I don't think this site needs much moderation!
I mean there is very little in the way of dodgy threads etc!
I'd put myself forward if needed! I have been a big fan of the trophy since day 1 unfortunately it just took 4 years to get one and I intend to keep it so I would not be...
The reason they wear better is because they start with 6.5mm of tread rather than 4mm on R888s
I have gone for Hankook RS2s similar idea (I.e. Halfway between road and track tyres) to the R1Rs but £50 cheaper per corner!!
I think if most(not all) trophy owners are honest they would prefer to be the owner of a brand spanking new 200, I would!
However that is not the whole story IMO the Trophy is much more and if I was to be a car collector I'd much rather have a mint Trophy in my collection than a 200!
I have...
I have only driven the new type r but I do have to say the engine is a masterpiece!!
My perfect hot hatch would be a trophy with a ctr or even an s2000 engine!
Also, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ft3KdAOM ... re=related
And you have to ignore the fact the CTR looks to cross the line first(RWYB does not count reaction times, just set off to finish), look at the times, 0.3 of a second quicker.
I'll keep the Trophy thanks
Not really, a cup is quicker than FF, I dont know how much by but it is quicker and a Trophy is meant to be 1 sec quicker over 3km.

The pictures on this thread are great.
I'd love to get a camera that can take photos like that but cant justify a camera just to take photos of my car.
