I think it sounds interesting, though, not knowing exactly how nitrous works, I would find it a little unnerving.. Can it realistically be used for anything more than simply straight line speed? - Could you exercise enough precise control to use it between a series of bends?
250 bhp in a Trophy sounds mental... will that require arms of steel to keep it in a straight line? :?
If I was buying the Meggy brand new, I have to say that I'd be doubtfull over the Ti exhaust.. I would probably go for the cage though.. After all, it's not as if you can do anything else...
Whatever you do, don't rush it and ensure that you have someone else along to assist with the job..
..Is the T feeling neglected now that the 5 has arrived? :(
tell me about it- I put up with a splitterless front end for 2 months whilst waiting for my carbon one to arrive. Must say that I feel carbon is cetainly cooler but not worthwhile unless you require a replacement for a broken oem part...
^^ Correct, that's exactly the area I stay in.. We normally stay at this campsite: click here It's pretty basic - no electricity in the barn where the toilets are but it's a good laugh.. there are plenty of other places to stay anyway..
We go biking here Trail Location Trail Map
 :lol...
You can still do that - we could set aside a day (Saturday maybe) for the meet/drive and then Sunday is a free day for anyone staying to do as they please...?
Anyway, I'm more worried that you wouldn't make it to wales Julz; for fear of puting too many miles on the car :-({|=
That's really great - I think it's something to pick up on early next year. What are the best times to visit the Snowdonia region? I was thinking that camping could be quite cool - there's a site that I have used a number of times for moutain biking which although very basic is in a decent...
Would be really great to get a whole selection of Trophys together so that those of us with standard exhausts could hear and see direct comparisons of the various options... On the last Essex meet we discussed the possibility of a weekend in Wales at some stage.. Perhaps we could have a mass...
I'm not in a position to replace my exhaust as yet - it's not showing signs of falling off! But when it does I shall find something better. - would certainly have snapped this up if I'd been looking for one.
To add to the exhaust debate - I have often wondered if it's worth...
Living in Essex, don't you get sick of the sight of ST's?? - It's one of the facets of Trophy ownership that I love - they're a rare sight.. And to be honest RS's in general are a rare site in comparison to fast fords..
Have you considered a 1 series? - Must be well built, rear wheel drive and...
Should make for an interesting read.. I stopped getting PC - I liked it but I prefer the writing style of EVO, even if many of the cars that they feature are the material of dreams rather than reality.. I needed to cut down on magazine purchases so PC was the one that fell by the wayside..
Good to see you back visiting Steve! Did you end up with the Scooby or stick with the Teg?
I'll be in Brighton over Christmas if you're around for a beer..
R26.R... delicious!
D'oh, I swear I saw a guy who looks much like you the other day though... To be fair, if I had hair like that I wouldn't go to meets either..
^^ You should also make it to a future meet so that I can appreaciate the exhaust in all it's glory.. (starting to wonder if you're just a Trophy fantasist Julz and you really drive a 1.2 or something  :^o  )
