Just realised that I misread your post reboot... D'oh - was clearly not focussing last night...
Found the following quote on the Telegraph website.. Good old traders..
''Although the blame lies squarely with stock market traders shifting funds from currencies to commodities, a 1.3p-a-litre...
Isn't that a sign that it probably IS the govt who is ripping us off?.. Else firms would be undercutting one another by greater margins - I'm guessing that fuel tax is likely to be higher than it was?.. Just tried to find out but there was nothing obvious enough in the limited time that I have...
Welcome indeed!
The sega rally dream - oh how I remember my early teenage days of hammering older guys at sega rally in the arcade.. That and daytona.
Great collection of machinery you have there and clearly a good fold to which the trophy is being added.
Hope the new addition lives up to...
FD2 Type-R Barge
A group of us can vouch for first hand experience of its awesome sound/performance/ability to appear smaller in tight gaps than you would expect
 It was the main consideration when I purchased the Trophy J
In truth I found that 70 is ok, 80 is pretty rough, 90 is awful... Goes quiet at 100 (apparently?!)
Sorry Jamie, we've somewhat deflected the direction of your post...
My advice, if you want a quiet exhaust at motorway speeds, steer well clear of the orb race model! :? However the soft version isn't too boomy..
Mine largely does short journeys and only a couple per week as I commute by train. Generally I find that it sits around the 30 mark but for a while now I have been getting into fifth gear as often as possible and generally changing gear around 2k, but rarely higher than 3k revs. This has...
 I think yours fits more into the Clio Trophy 'developers section' 8)
Would have been quite cool to contrast all of the red cars with your white beastie..
Thanks Ben :D
It's interesting to look back on them, especially my early photos and see how my photography has changed over time. Some of the early shots of my own car, which are towards the end of the post, are really quite heavily over saturated which I've tried to get away from since. -...
I was experiencing a rattle such as this, it was getting worse as time wore on. However, finally got my Orb fitted on Tuesday and can now confirm that the rattle was unquestionably exhaust related as it's completely gone. No idea which part of the system was causing it- I gave the...
Can see why you were put off the idea! My gut feeling is he's not going to offer spectacular discount and doesn't really sound all that keen on a group buy anyway?!
.. Here's hoping you have a little more joy with your final attempt.. [-o<
That's a shame - you'd think he would let us all pay individually through the site or into an account or something.. Did he suggest a minimum number of orders?
Nice one J - good to see some pictures of the old girl after some summer TLC.
As per previous comments, it brings back great memories of the days I was in my teens - used to work for my dad in the summer and 3 of his employees had R5GTTs at one stage - never ever got a ride though, so...
Quite a tricky situation because the clio bonnets, like all of the bodywork, are not especially resilient to dents - I had to have some pulled out of mine from the bonnet being closed in the past. - Exercise care! Presumably dropping from a height of a couple of inches should be ok..?
